Strange error with exe

When i try and load up mir from the exe i receive the following message - "File corrupted!. This program has been manipulated and maybe its infected by a virus or cracked. This file won't work anymore."

Ive deleted the exe and ran the autopatcher to reinstall it but the problem continues to persist.

Has anyone else encountered this problem before? And if so how did you solve it ?

Any suggestions/solutions would be much appreciated, thx

well if thats the message your getting and you have tried a new exe (through the auto patch) i assume that it might be one of the game files.

what you could try is make a new folder. put the auto patcher in the new folder and then run it. let it download everything over night (or if you have a fast connection wait for it )

if it something to do with the files then a fresh copy will solve it (and if your mir folders are anything like mine it will end up saving you a bit of space when you remove the corrupt file.)

if its still got problems aftewr a fresh copy of the game is downloaded then i might be a file being used by the pc when trying to load mir (you could check this by trying to load other mir servers)

let me know how you go after those and if the problem persists ill have another think

try deleting ur human folder first i had that come up in that folder once its in graphics btw if u dont no were 2 find it

I reinstalled windows last night so downloading mir again atm. If the problem occurs again ill try your suggestions and get back to you, thanx

Ive reinstalled a fresh copy of mir and i still got the same problem so i tried deleting the human folder which didnt work. The autopatcher has just finished downloading all the files to a new folder and i still get the same problem

Anything else i can try pls

whats giving you that error? Mir2.exe or some anti-virus/spyware?

The error is from something called 'Themida' is this a virus :S ? And it appears everytime i click my exe to try and load mir

y dont u try turning off ur anti virus and stuff

That was one of the first things i tried, i never even had an anti-virus the first time the problem occured
