LAGGGGGS BACK! - Have you changed something?

Well the lag is back in full effect (time is 11:15 am atm)


not sure if you have changed any settings on the server (firewall??) but it would seem the problem is back for us, after 3/4 days of good connection were lagging out again >.<


hope you have some idea of what it might be as we lost 12 foxes in total to the lag outs now.

more succesful pk attacks on myself and Penny due to this f'ing lag another 3 foxes dead due to lag.




going afk outside the book store may seem like a bad idea to some, but as alucard and pika just seem to want to kill people - pika is now red.

she complained that i died but with lag i cant even fight. so told them i was afk and boom i was dead before i saw my text.

After 3 great days the lag and d/c problems are back with a vengence.

Symptoms are

- you freeze - mobs don't, you watch yourself die

or

- you freeze, mobs don't, you watch them attacking the space you WERE in but don't get hit/lose hp

or

- you freeze, take ONE step, wait for a while (typically 15-20 seconds) and it clears (usually we pm the lagging char to see if it gets the PM before tyring to take a second step)

or

- you freeze, take TWO+ steps and lag out (no disconnect msg, but are disconnected)

Then when you try to get back onto the server you usually cannot - sometimes for 10-25 minutes other times just a minute or two

No other internet connection is affected, only this server

At our wits end - the only common denominator for the problem seesm to be this server and after the firewall was removed it cleared instantly but now is back for god knows what reason
