    Default Are the skils underpowerd on LR

    I may be wrong but I have been testing stuff and even with mc of 19-65 (apple) my firewall lasts no time at all and is not hurting the stuff it ought to hurt.

    I was wondering if the MC effect had been reduced on high ate due to the huge stats and that this effect may have been transferred to LR where its not really helpful?

    Any feedback?

    the amount of time a firewall lasts is governed by your base mc, so 19. 19 mc will not make a firewall that lasts any amount of time. the damage is then taken from the max so anywhere from 19-65 mc worth of damage. i'm not sure if the damage its doing is underpowered but the fact that it doesn't last long sounds about right as the base mc is quite low.

    lol i love ppls veiws on what stats and what not do. all i can tell you for certain is that on hr i got a wizz with mc 60-100 ish and fwall lasts for ages!

    with base mc 113 on hr my firewall lasts approx 40 seconds.

    i think its just cause we all have noob stats. however i have seen a wiz with firewall that only lasted 2-3 seconds which ssi a bit pointless imo

    My concern was that on High Rate the stats are excessive and i wondered if anything had been done to the spells to tone them down a bit or not. If this happened, and then the files got used on LR with a reduced effect, it would account for what I think i am seeing.

    If not, then maybe I am just tainted by playing higher stat servers but having been on a couple of base stat servers recently I really find the FW to be much weaker than I think it ought to be.

    So, question for Jamie is, has the effect of spells been toned down on HR and then this transferred to LR?

    my views on the stats are what the stats do, i have a copy of the deaths files and the skills are hard coded so therefore cannot be changed. base is duration max is damage.

    i agree with penny though, a high rate server will always have players with immense stats, if this server is just a copy of high rate skills ways we could suffer on here is it would be extremely hard to match those stats

    firewall is hard-coded, cannot be changed

    duration is based on ur base mc

    damage is based on ur top end mc

    nobody has the stats enough on this server to have a very good firewall yet
