If server was lag free would you donate more

With so many players having this damn lag problem (only with LR) and now NOT donating for foxes where they otherwise would, could you give us some idea of what you are planning.

Seeems to me that server count would be better if people could

- get on
- stay on
- have fun when they did

ATM lots are either not playing at all, not playing as much as they want too or not enjoying it very much when they do.

Rather than bury this post on the tail of the Lag thread, can I ask the following :

- Can you please change this server soon?
- If so, what would the best time scale be?

There seems little doubt that it would be better to do it earlier rather than later to salvage as many players as possible? As play slip further behind in levels, kits and the constant lose of pets (donated or otherwise) it does wear them down and you will lose some to other servers.

I recall you saying that you had paid a 3 month advance on this server but frankly the loss of income from the players collectively (and there are lots) over that period (foxes at the very least) must outweigh any hosting cost that would be lost by changing.

We must be about a month into it now so could you give some thought to kicking this damn box into touch and setting up a replacement that runs these files without the unique and maddeningly (like High Rate does).

LR is great and I and many others would really love to play it but our ability to do so is seriously boogared atm.

To be quite honest, I really enjoy LR - when I can move that is! :P

If you can get the lag problems sorted Jamie then this server really will take off and have serious staying power, however with the lag you'll just lose people

I agree completely - Its annoying when half the group keep getting disconnected meaning aborting the hunt at times.

Getting a new server wont slove the problem if it is the server config that is causing the problem.

with the server peaking at only 32 people i really dont see why i should pay out for another server, when i have just paid for 3 months on this server.

i am not sure how many of you are lagging right now, but looking at the server char screen and seeing that there are people who have been logged in for 1700 minutes and penny being online for 247 minutes, and me daughter has no lag problems at all.

Server is unplayable at times - like now. Having a set up that doesn't work (even if you have paid for it for 3 months) is not a good arguement for not addressing the problems it has. If ppl are paying for things on this server which are unusable/unplayable, and you know they are unusable/unplayable, then we look to you to at least say if you are prepared to do something about it and when (read my post cos thats what it asked)

If you can check that I have been online for 247 minutes may also want to check that

- i have not killed a mob today cos lag has kept me in GT
- the only reason I have stayed online was to check guild chat
- not D/Cing for 4 hours may be ok with you but not being able to walk isn't ok for me

The LR server is the ONLY server we have this problem with. We have bent over backwards as you know to try and find out if any thing else is at fault. You insisted it was not your end and we believed that and went through ****loads of stuff here to find the fault, which was always at your end.

Despite your assurances that it is not the server over many weeks (both on 1.9 and now LR) it clearly is. No one has done more to pull the collective player information together than me and I think it a bit unfair that you simply say (I paid for this server so live with it) when you are happily taking our cash to play a server we cannoit use. When you turned off the FW it was sorted for three full days and was a joy to play.

No one is demanding a new server. You said that, i didnt.

So please just consider what is happening and decide if you want the server to be sucessful or not. We all enjoy LR or we would all just sod off and play some other server, right?
