Green Writing

some times when i login i get green writing at the top of my screen any one else had it or

is it just me


also any one got any got any ideas on how to fix please

when u get a load of green writing its becuz ure lagging / lagged

yeah but i get a line of greenwriting as i login and sometimes lagg is fine

its something lagg related, i first got it when laby/1.9 degi was changed to this one and the lagg problems started. before this server i never had any problesm part from local lagg cos i live in middle of no where. i believe new server been sorted now and reboot t 8am so hopefull all will be fixed

Its normally caused when ur client gets overloaded with data eg. if u enter a room jam packed with 2000 mobs

as far as i was aware the green writing came up when there were database issues - the last time i saw it in any major fashion was when the old server was having issues sending info between the database and server (there was a second delay which was causing issues with the information traveling and causing conflicts.)

as mentioned the green writing your getting at the moment is more than likely down to the lag and not the room packed full of mobs - the reason for this assumption is that it was happening to my character when it was accessing bw storage [whilst on a wireless connection] (a simple database query to see what items are allocated to my character name, but it was blowing the character up and lagging it out - when tried from a different location (a wired connection) it was fine.)


if you have the ability to swap between a wireless and wired connection it might be worth trying that just to see if it helps.


but hopefully when the new server is in place all green writing should vanish ^.^ (*crosses fingers*)

the green writing at the top of the screen on log in is caused by an extreme but temporary lag spike. i used to get them all the time on here when i ran a wireless connection because it didn't seem to like log ins. it's normally just a case of letting it pass. theres nothing that can be done to stop it
