Wil any of the people that play lowrate go to this new server?
im just afraid it will damage the numbers even more ^^

I know how your feeling lol.
I personally wont be going to it.
I guess that we will be at an advantage to the fact we have less pking for the people that get fed up with it, we have the measures in place that sorta reduces it.
I know that a few people that play low rate have for a time gone back to high until things pick up here.
All that I can hope for is that the GMs have something up their sleves lol

Changes are in the process which may bring people back or will interest new players. The low rate server is as you know a copy of high rate, as exp is low rate changes need to be made to the files to make it a fair environment for the players so things are actually achievable. Its a new server things need to be ironed out before everything runs smoothly. Once the changes are made I expect numbers to improve just a matter at the moment to wait and see what happens.

im sure it will affect numbers but it will offer a different service im sure - we do have stricter rules on pking on this server - so any pkers we get we can tell hem to go to the new hr pk server and they cant complain about the gap.

also this server is being working on the database is getting re-adjusted and its being aimed at people that want to work for their items rather than be online 24/7 waiting for people to die outside the book store for stuff

the new x20 server will cater for those that want to start playing but want to level fast but dont want to
make up the gap in the current HR.

so we technically have

High Rate
Medium Rate
Low Rate


i think i'll make a character on there and make sure i get my name but i dont think ill do any real leveling on there (maybe level 40 over the space of the first 2 weeks lol)

i dont think people will leave lr to go to new server but i do feel less people will join lr if theres a new fresh server with higher exp

it all depends on what you want from a server - the new one is still x20 exp so its not really a medium rate server its still pretty high rate - but will be fresh.

it will be a little while before the users define how the server will actually be - like the low rate initally started with a PKing attitude from a few people but that was beaten out of them by the people who actually wanted a peaceful server (and who were willing to fight for the peaceful server - ironic much? lol)

im sure the new server will have an initial influx of people from the HR who will all want to try and Be the best onthe server - whether thats getting the First Wooma Horn, Guild, in 22 armour, in 40 armour, first to have sabuk/Greatwall, First to get the relic etc etc.


new servers always attract those players that want to race to be the best - and tbh i think theres room for another server that wipes every 2/3 months that is simply a high rate, high drop test server that gives you 10000 game gold for a ?10 donation so it make enough money from the people that actually want to play it to keep it running - in addition to a server like this you would want a website that comprises of all the different achievements people have made after each server wipe.

and maybe have prizes awarded for the next round.


i might have to have a chat with lapta about it at the next mir meet lol.

its not my place to say but if it still covers costs i dont see why not but i dont have the deciding factor...

As the misses says if the server is covering the costs - and not causing to much extra work for lapta im sure it wont die.


with the Database changes and active GMs im pretty sure the server will start increasing number soon enough

be around i have reason to believe its going to be fun (the secrecy is often a good sign lol im looking forward to it excited >.< want more clues tbh)
