Drop spaces

well after reading the thread about blood leaving i seen there was alot of discussion about how drops work, through my time playing mir and ive had some pretty good drops it always seems to me that the good drops will drop any were, as long as there is space for them to drop. if the boss is on its own with no mobs and 1 person the drops will go anywere apart from underneath the player finishing the boss. if there are allredy drops on the floor in the "top drop spaces" the drops will simply drop under it in space that is empty, this is how i have always thought and in some cases it works some it doesnt. if you had ever played RZ HR and Mir lab/rev HR and killed AC on there you would know that the drops can drop anywere. but also IWT only drop a few things like a pot, eggsinhat and sometimes a rare. (this is the case on HR anyway), so if "blood" was stood in the space were drop normally goes then it would of just went into a different spot, either next to shirly or under blood.

hope this clears things up a touch and pen if you do tht test plz post here and tell me your finding.

mr needs a team of myth busters lol. i have to say i agree with km, there can be exceptions like if boss is against wall and theres not enough space but drops do stack..

yup i agree 2, things will stack up 2 4 high, even if u kill a boss in a room full of items, the drop will just stack on them, only advantage of killin in clear space is that its easy 2 c drop

Yes we need to bust some myths and i have started with this one cos I am unsure too

So, I took a random noob mob from the database and made three copies called Droptest1/2/3

I loaded 1 with 9 small mp pots
I loaded 2 with 9 pots +5 gold necks
I loaded 3 with 9 pots, 5 gold neck and 5 duragems(U)

I then uploaded them to the server and waited till reboot day. Rebooted and tested

Alas, being tired, I had failed to notice that the mob I used to start from was, a deer!

What a tw@t - back to the drawing board
