Lag Problems , Server? My Connection?

Hi people , it seem's im getting quite bad lag constantly , was ok after reboot and now the lagg comes and goes any info would be helpful thanks guys and gals

what conection u got? i suffer from bad lagg about half the time but atm im putting it down to my conection, after 2nd of september ill find out if its me or not

Interesting that it was ok after reboot as I didnt actually do a reboot, I simply updated the database files and restarted mir without rebooting the host server. So I think you can rule that out. This Friday I will reboot the server as well as updating the files in case it does make any difference.

Kong is the only other player I know who lags apart from Mac. Mac is USA based and I don't know what kit he uses but he seems to get some lag which so far I have assumed to be tranatlantic ping times but I am just guessing. Kong's problem does seem to be local and even though his connection is being uprated, I never had trouble running a four pc mir network from my home on a half meg connection and I live in the sticks with a shonky local BT exchange.

I hope it improves. If there is anything you think I can do to help just shout
