please help cant run mir

i have a new pc but i cant run mir ? every time i click on it i get . 004fb060 im 'module "mir2.2 .exe " read address 000005a4 in boxes all over the screen missed a whole days lvlin tryin to fix an im sure its something simple but its beat me , any ideas would be a help ty

have you run the auto patcher?

ill do some research and see if i can dig anything up on the error.

hmm i found a post claiming its down to the sound drivers so the best thing to do would be to look for the latest versions of them.

in the mean while (if you cant be bothered looking now) you could try editing your Mir2.ini file it will look a bit like this

Dont worry about the numbers/Server name they are wrong in my example the only bit were interested in is the bit in red

try changing that line to read

Sound=0

save and close the ini file and then try mir again - if it works you should be able to connect - if it doesnt work you'll need to hunt for drivers after all.
