Ice Cave is starting to thaw

As the Ice thaws new mobs are emerging with some very painful intentions aimed at anyone bold enough to visit. The mobs that have defrosted so far are set to high rate stats but they also have the same drop rates and items!

The mobs that will thaw out later will have lower stats and adjusted drops.

The mobs are being set at levels from 54-60 and most can be TU'd and Hallu'd

The usual bosses and sub bosses are there all still set to HR stats and hurt like hell but they too will be adjusted shortly. They range from level 66 to level 80

Will try to get this sorted for next reboot and maybe have a server/multiple guild hunt with a GM to guide us so that those who have never been before can take a look.

Bring mittens, a scarf, a thermos of tea, bandages and lots of pots!

why not make it server wide issuse where every ones hels needed and we all have to group and fastreset one to drop jump (sil) gets the drops

Is KONG drunk again, even I understand that post Ali, sounds good, is Ice Temp the next cave to be brought fully into the game then? Followed by presumably JT and Numa?

Not sure which comes next, got some things stacking up atm, armours, pets, gamegold scripts for example.

I spent a few hours testing Ice with Hollywood after reboot (as reboot killed off old spawns and regenned the news ones).

Its tough. Archer heaven. Possed guardians hurt. All in all it did what I hoped it would do. My level 67 pets got raped.

Mobs levels were raised a little from those mentioned in previous post but it is basically a level 50+ environment (maybe a little higher) really and provides good exp, a decent challenge, the chance of some very fine drops, a variety of heavier duty subs and bosses and somewhere new to hunt.

Pots (other than suns) were in short supply so IceArchers were given XL bun drops and lots of suns drop from a range of other mobs and I advise you to remain stocked up for reasons which will become obvious.

The frost tigers currently have the same stats as the pet ones so I have not adjusted them just yet and will modify or make another FrostTiger in the database to avoid weakening the pet version.

Got thru to 4th floor at about 6.30am and not sure what raped me but was dying so fast I GT'd (after quickly finding out that RTs don't work there!).

Drops not sorted yet but hopefully tomorrow (later today)

Apart from the usual Ice mobs, Ice subs and Ice bosses this cave has EvilFanatics (two versions) which also are same as the ones used in Ship map and were not changed so that Ship mobs remain stable.

Let me have your thoughts about how tough it is and the pot drops.

also sydney used bg when it had loads of exp to do several lvls. i did 80% in there sinch it was open cos im not a mug who abuses mistakes..... 52 to 55 in 2 days... takes the piss a lil cos player knew what was happerning... tbh i dont rly care only posting cos im smashed
