You cant run it because your anti virus has detected mir as a virus. a msg like this will appear

"cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item"


To fix the problem do this.

Uninstall your anti virus software.

Reboot your PC.

Delete Mir2.exe.

Run auto patcher.


The reason why it shows as a virus


Was researching the error im getting which is a Themida error and stumbled upon some information about Themida that will explain the virus issues some of you are getting.

Basically its a company that makes software to protect software's codes from being read. Its what stops anyone from getting the code inside the .exe or something similar not really sure and its not that important.

So, some clever person decided to package their virus using Themida software so that it couldnt be accessed by anti virus to delete. Themida is the same software that is used to package the mir.exe. So your antivirus thinks that the mir.exe is infact a virus packaged in the themida files trying to stop it self being found.

Basically its a false positive in your Virus scanner. It will be in most scanners if not all. It most likely wont be just affecting Mir and will probably be fixed by what ever company makes your anti virus.

Alright guys, Got a Problem i ain't been able to play Mir Revenge for about 5 months now due to a problem. I deleted Mir And Re-Downloaded But no Success The problem is that when i Click to Open mir up it goes to a Installer and then says cannot find the correct sourse? Any help Guys? Would be much Apprieceated if anyone can help me out on this as i love mir and would love to get back in-game ASAP.

I've been trying all different ways so far i'll try the Auto Patcher again. And Update you. If it doesn't work i'll load it up and get a Print screen of the Problem and post it in here so you all can See and give your tips? (Y)

I Highly doubt its my Sound Card/Drivers Because all my brothers have got the same problem as me. Well i just ran the Auto patch and it did exactly the same as it does when i try load Mir. :/ How can i put Print screens on here guys?

upload it to photobucket or something similar and just copy and paste the link in or theres a attachment button rite next to the smilie faces up the top when u reply.. could try attaching it that way.

If you are having trouble with the installer and the auto patch, try downloading the full client from here

http://www.mmorpggeek.com/download.html (all files are compressed into one big rar file)

Also check your Java is upto date

You can upload screen shots by click on the paperclip at the top in advance reply mode and browser to the file
