To rebirth or not 2 rebirth

i think now is the time to start looking at rebirth for level 75, 80, 85?

oh and if we are going past 75, does the exp table need looking at again? im happy to do it if u want

p.s. how is the exp table working out at those levels? can u feel it gettin harder or is it to easy?

I said think about this fast and cap the level at 70 but i didint think that would happen well now i could cap the lvl at 75 so we can get things sorted with Rebirth well anyways 75 back to level 1 is what i am thinking of else no point but yeh flame away!

What do u understand by "rebirth" ? I was thinking abt keeping base stats any char gets by lvling to 75 or whatever the lvl for rebirth is and then when it starts on lvl 1 again those base stats are actually lvl 75 ones and getting higher on each lvl like usual.

As for spells and items (that require lvls) i dono what to say cuz many items are very high lvls and it would take lots of time to get back to 50+ to wear them again so i think maybe skills and items shouldnt be affected by rebirth ? or maybe just skill lvl ( start 0 skill lvl on all spells )

Rebirth lvl in my opinion should differ a little bit for each char? U may have noticed lvling is different for any1 cuz wizzies lvl much more faster than wars and wars a little bit faster than taos , so maybe you could think abt having different lvl rebirths ?

i think item lvls should stay the same tbh. no point having a lvl 1 wizz walking around in a lvl 60 armour. question is bout skills.... i wouldnt mind lvling them all again it just getting them in the 1st place is just hastle

I think a rebirth option at say level 75 would be good but I have no knowledge of the process and would need advise in undersatnding the options. I have seen a settin gon the M2Server but I am not gonna start fiddling with it until I understand the implications.

I recall a GM (who shall remain nameless) who fiddled and got it wrong and could not reset the chars and it cuased immense confusion thereafter.

Anyone ever used this successfully? I have heard it talked about a lot but I have never played a server where it has been successfully used? Happy to put something in place if we can figure out how to. Any expertise floating around out there?

Lapta might be our best bet to speak to in regards to rebirth - i know he was looking into it for the high rate server so, if we can get him on MSN for a Rebirth 101 session then we can learn a little more




Just got a PM from Lapta - he has a test Rebirth script on the HR in the GM room so ill log on later tonight have a fiddle with it and then let you know how it goes


Is there anything people want me to find out other then....

1) Does it reset Stats?
2) Does it reset HP/MP?
3) Does it give you a rebirth Title?
4) Does it change your name colour?

5) Do Spells Get Wiped? Lvl of them?
6) Items - Rebirth Level requirements?


ill try to give a decent break down when i finish playing but is there anything specific that people want anwsered let me know
