Oma King Robe failures (New Script Fix, read thread)

Following chance comments by both Mac and Kong i made a note to test the OKR success rate. I just did and the results were appalling.

I asked dave to set the success rate to 40% (up on the 20% I am told it was when we started) and he did (or so I thought). Tested last night and got 28 fails out of 30 tests. So no bloody way is it 40%

Don't use it until i get it fixed.

I'll figure out how to set it up and set it to 80% for 2 weeks so those who have the stuff (or most of it) get a better than usual chance of making a robe.

Sorry about this, I honestly thought it was a job that had been knocked off the list, but once again I was proved wrong. Pisses me off

Not yet, been doing the other server updates first, but its on the list.

Lone and Ares were working on it early but no conclusive results from tests yet

I have a script for you to test in the GM room.
it has to do with the Random command if it works then I can set the Crafting to 30% or 50% or 25% it won't be crafting it will be random chance though.

I can't Set the Percentage of the Crafting. ONLY Jamie can do that or YOU because you have Server side access.

Thanks Dave as always but saying I can do this server side without giving a clue which script you are talking about is somewhat pointless. If you have a solution and want to share it, then please do so, if not, please dont post as it adds nothing.

Oh, the percentage is Not in a Script, it's an actual Database setting. and I really got no clue how to fix it in that respect.

What I have done, is come up with a TEST script for you to try in the GM room on the server.
I'm waiting for Jamie to upload it to test it on medium rate.
If it works then it should be fine and the Percentage of working will be 33% (like euro)

its cool we are coming up with a solution - involving killing a boss instead, so your random chance will be does the boss drop it this time or not - so you will get Exp and a chance to get the armour possibly even 2 (and maybe some ingredients for the quest itself )

I've got the Fix For OmaKingRobe now. I've managed to test the script and it works very well now.

All I need now is Perry-1002 Script and apply the Changes to the NPC.
