help plz

my mum strted to uninstall mir not knowing what it was. so when i tryed to load it up again it would not work, so i uninstalled it and tryed to install it again but it keeps telling e that there is a file missing. am i doing something wrong?? and alos is the folder for mir revenge able to be sent over MSN? if so will some1 send it 2 me plz?? thx. all replies will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure what the missing file is, it may be your mum managed to remove/delete all the files and you need to completely reinstall following afull download.

Did you download the files again using the Autopatcher software or were you trying to reinstall from files you already have?

What is the exact msg you get when it stops working?

im noy sure exactly. what i did was completely uninstalled it and then tryed downloading it n installin like i did the first time i got it. i have also tryed just downloading the auto patcher also and that still didnt work.

hmm im not sure how your current file ares so its probably best to start from scratch. >.<

what you should do first is create a new folder on your desktop. call it FreshMirRevenge.

then we want to download the Autopatcher software in this new folder.

once the file is downloaded unzip it into FreshMirRevenge folder.

you shoudl now see a new folder called "AutoPatch" in the FreshMirRevenge folder.

open the AutoPatch folder and select and copy the 2 files you see (KaoriPatchGZ.ini and MirRevengeAutoPatcher.exe)

we now want to paste those 2 files into the FreshMirRevenge folder, so you then have 3 items in there (KaoriPatchGZ.ini, MirRevengeAutoPatcher.exe and the autopatch folder)

Double click the MirRevengeAutoPatcher.exe file and let it run its scan, it will tell you that you need to download loads of files - after its finished it should let you into the game.

ok i have dowloaded the auto patched all i need 2 do now is download some java thing so that i am able ton it. i will let you know how it goes.

doing autopatch now it says it needs to get 2000+ files so it will take along time. my anti virus software is detectting threats in some of the files so if i click ignore will it still work??

dont u need to turn off fire wall and anti virus when useing auto patcher ???

the auto patch has now finished but it did not download 2 files. so i think these are the setup files because i still cannot launch the setup of the game. so i will turn my anti virus and firewall off and then do auto patcher again.

ok i have turned firewall off and completely removed my anti virus. so i am now running auto patcher again. will this also give me the files to play the game? is does not work i will download the actual setup files of the website tomorrow.

theres no setup files needed - the auto patcher downloads everything you need to play the game

what antivirus were you using? (we've had problems with AVG recently which caused a few people not to be able to play - but removing the antivirus did the trick in the end - lets hope it works for you )
