Right, I know im only new to this server never did like high rate servers so low rate are my thing,
I have a question. (or 2)

As a taoist starting out on the server (now Level 27)

where should I level ?

what items should I be aiming for (and have on me at this stage) ?

Should I bother with pets ? using them at the moment but feel they are VERY slow

Is it better for me to hunt in a pack with warriors/Wizards

you know the usual noob (who wants to get better) Questions and any other helpful information would be welcomed

Hi Healer

At level 27 the best way to level is probably get on group hunts, due to the lack of attack power of the taoist at such a low level.

I found that BugCave was quite good up until level 35ish - if you can get on a hunt with a couple of other lower levels to WT KR theres loads of wts to kill which can drop Exp Bars which increase your exp rate, which can be a massive help.

tonight if your online i can take you out of a leveling run if you fancy and try to get you above level 30 (have you joined a guild yet?)

As to the pets - i assume the pet rental npc would be better then your skellie. (and dont forget about the pet leveling area which can be found by click the Solider NPC and then going to the "Map For Everyone" this will level your pets masssively quicker than anywhere else)

if you want to spend a little bit of cash and buy some gamegold - there are some tough pets on the game gold npc that will help you out massively.


as for the items to wear... i went for GoldBracelets/ring of titanx2/PearlNecklace for quite along time ( i was gemming them as i found them to make them slightly better - you might might them in the shops now - if not when i come on tonight im sure ill have some stuff lurking about)

when you get to level 45 it will be massively beneficial to wear RedMoonKit as this is the first set of items that have large armour and attack - for a taoist it pwns

as for places to level - i touched on it above if you can get into a group with a warrior/wizard the exp will be gained alot quicker - with your poison (and later your curse) they should be reasonablly happy to take you along so you can poison any bosses that might show up

BugCave Connection Path is boring but packed with Mobs so you can plug away in there (you also get a reasonable amount of cash from BugCave Mobs)

StoneTomb Maze (the maze before the Kings Rooms) is a little more entertaining but the snake scorps can hurt a bit with low ac.

WT KR isnt a bad place as you get loads of woomas and plenty of WTs to try your hand at

(you actually have your own version of WoomaTemple which can be found in the noob village so you can try doing it without people like myself coming in and killing 4 wts at a time and stealing them all :P )

hmmm i was going to say something else but its slipped my mind >.<


I should be logged on tonight if you fancy taking a trip out somewhere (im sure i can find a couple of guild noobs to come along and keep the convo going whilst im luriing )

^^ i got shirley to have a word last night as i couldnt get on - hes already joined the enemy boooooo :P

they appear to be looking after him atm though so its all good :P - i think he said he got up to 32 in a battle ground hunt. So it seems to be working out

^.^ i hope he (and everyone else) does enjoy the server and hopefully fightclub can gain a few extra members and we can get some wars going again

Welcome to the server

I agree with a lot of the advice given but I would stress one thing. Spend a couple of pounds getting 3 wizz foxes and start hunting Tree Path and Red Moon immediately, regardless of your level.

The wizz foxes are extremely good there and will kill just about everythign you approach before you get to them. At the same time that you are hunting there, start the red moon kit quest (www.mir2resource.info - holy sword quest for full info) and you can get to 45 in very little time and the wizz foxes can finish the quest for you. It will be the best couple of quid you ever spend

The only risk with the above advice is that there are a lot of crystal spiders in Tree Path and although wizz foxes will deal with them easy if you drop a small dose of poison on them, they do hurt a lot so keep a bunch of sun meds on you
