A reboot is needed to get everything in place for you. I've said 8pm just to be safe - I'd rather start the event earlier than planned rather than being late.
Lone usually does his reboots between 6-7pm, I'll have a chat with him as to whether I can hold off the event untill 8pm and just reload the database at the time or whether it has to start as soon as the server is back up from the weekly reboot.
I'm pretty sure that Lone and I have already had this conversation but as I'm double checking everything else that I've done I will also re-check this. For now yes it starts at 8pm.

Damn you all. I go away for five minutes and you put on a great event which I cannot participate in. You meanies!

I know that a huge amount of work went into preparation for this event and I am sure it will be great.

I hope you all enjoy it immensely. Have fun and well done to all those who made it happen (especially to Ares who I hear has not slept for over a month experimenting with new stuff just for this event)

A. so u can go away on holiday with the wife while he stays at home, gets ur tao to 60 and then lvls the wizzie so ur not left behind =P and get cool benifits from event =)
