i have done my weekly scan and these popped up

mir2 exe win32 trojan-gen {other}
mir exe win 32 trojan-gen {other}
setup exe win32 agent- ACZY [trj]


they dont look very nice but they are harmfull if not why do these files keep popping up as trojan gens ?

i think its of thermida. some software used to make mir. not 100% but probably lone/penny can confirm this

there stuck in my chest now and i cant get on to mir i have try to stop the scanner detecting the files but they are stuck in my chest and cnt get them out wit out delteing them i hate virus scanners they allways cause me problems

i know with my anti virus it has a expections path. put mir revenge folder in there
so eg
c:/programfiles/mirrevenge

that worked for me

Either - Delete Your Mir.exe and your the auto patcher

OR

- Do Levi's theory and make exceptions on your anti-virus.

- The mir2.exe I believe was made by Themida which uses a type of software which most anti-virus' pick up as a Trojan. Use either of the 2 or my Theory THEN Levi's and you shouldn't have a problem again.

what is the setup exe not seen it in there before
also the path that the antivirus says the setup.exe file is in is incorrect tells me the path is C:\doctuments and settings \ adminstrator \ local setting \ temp
but there is nothing there i can get as far as admin but in my admin file there is no local settings
and in fact the antivirus is saying the mir2.exe is in the same path as the setup.exe which it aint so do u know whats going on i have placed the mir.exe path into a safe place so that the antivirus doesnt scan that file and it works but i dont see how i can sort the other 2 out as the paths it is in and the path they say it is in are diffrernt any ideas ?

Setup.exe is what you run to set up the MirRevenge files - it's what you download off the website.

What did you use to download it?

Setup.exe - really doesn't matter where this is as long as you extract MirRevenge files in the correct path.

C:/ProgramFiles/MirRevenge.

u could try ignoring it.. or does it drag u out of mir??
