A player made it known to me tonight that he did not know the following: “There is little point levelling very high level pets in the pet levelling area” Let me explain why for those who do not understand this.
Examples
Hen (Level 5 mob)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 5, DC 1-1
- At Level 7 (darkest red) stats are HP 12 (+140%), DC 1-15 (+700% average hit)
- Time taken to level – almost forever
- Value in levelling – virtually nil, too much hassle for the reward
BoneFamiliar (Level 15 mob – Taoist pet – exceptional stats for this reason)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 100, DC 16-25
- At Level 3 (mid blue) stats are HP 280 (+180%), DC 16-30
- At Level 7 stats are HP 800 (+700%), DC 16-46 (+51% average DC hit)
- Value in levelling – enormous
OmaFighter (Level 22 mob)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 100, DC 2-12
- At Level 7 stats are HP 205 (+105%), DC 2-26 (+128% average DC hit)
- Value in levelling – significant as it takes very little time and doubles key stats but as you wont be that level that long, probably worth thinking about next level pets
VenomSpider (Level 40 mob)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 260, DC 15-26
- At Level 7 stats are HP 533 (+105%), DC 15-40 (+134% average DC hit)
- Value in levelling – extremely useful
KekTal (Level 59 mob)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 4100, DC 34-50
- At Level 7 stats are HP 4520 (+10%), DC 34-64 (+16% average DC hit)
- Value in levelling – useful but not great but average hit increases by 7 DC so worth it maybe if you have plenty of time and the mobs you are hunting really need extra dc to kill them
MirKing (Level 80 mob)
- At Level 0 (white) stats are HP 18,000 DC 170-180
- At Level 7 stats are HP 18420 (+2%), DC 170-194 (+4% average hit)
- Value in levelling – virtually nil for HP or DC
Please note, these are in game mobs used for examples and are not the PetRental mobs which have been listed elsewhere on forums
In all cases, levelling these example mobs does not increase their ac/amc/mp/mc/sc or hitting or walking speeds
