    Default Evil Temple

    Hmm, I am not having a go at anyone here, but I am just wondering who designed Evil Temple? This place is ridiculous! It is just another superb place for wizzies to level and the other two classes have a distinct disadvantage.

    Reasoning behind this:

    - The mobs are killed very easily by magic attacks (low amc?) and much harder by melee attacks

    - There is a ridiculous amount of Fwall spots everywhere you look, where mobs gather up in huge numbers. All a wizard has to do is sit there behind one of the many fences and fwall

    - Cylon guardian teleports away every time it is attacked by melee and not by magic. This leads to any other class having to run around these previously mentioned Fwall trap-like fences to get to it....

    All these combined make it far too easy for a wizard to level once he has a decent kit and is over lvl 60. Maybe even level 70 as the Cylon Guardian still presents a problem to any class, unless your kitted to the max.

    they may have low amc but i know that numas have a high amc

    tis like yims has a high amc and ice temp has a low amc

    so seems fair not saying this as im a wizz as im soon to start relvling tao so not bias in any way tis just what i know and see

    Yims have high AC too, a wiz can fly through there faster than a war can. Numa does have high AMC, which doesn't help me either as I'm a tao, but with wizzies pets they can do Numa easy enough anyway

    ur a tao, if u wanted to lvl fast then u would have made a tao. stop moaning, its ppl like you that are one of the reasons i have gotten sick of mir atm. constant moaning wanting things to be better for their class.

    Back to the topic at hand please KONG. If you want to whine, make a thread.

    Edit: Highering their AMC or changing this against wizzies won't help me one bit. Its just ridiculous how easy it is for a wizzy to level in here.

    Yup its soo easy for wizzies, all you have to do is level to 70+ and get an amazing kit, only takes a few minutes.

    You should try making a wizz and levelling in ET before you start throwing "Its so easy" around. Did you notice that these mobs hurt? And that they have a very long range attack?

    The amc on these mobs if far higher than the AC, averaging 30-35% higher. Maybe if we took the AC up to the same level you would understand the reality a little better. maybe you would prefer it that wizzies couldnt kill mobs at all? And as a tao with power mass poison and the ability to get range pets to kill over the wall, I wonder exactly what you are worrying about. You can range kill CylonGuardians with ease as a tao.

    Any warrior with an ounce of ability can lure a room to any archway in the maze, block it and kill 1/2 mobs at a time (with or without a tao).

    Not the most well constructed of your ciriticisms and desparating lacking in facts not to mention full of bias.

    I have no idea who designed the map or the mobs but they were left as brutal as we found them when the files arrived. They are tough and hurt and having finally levelled until I could kill them I am happy to do so. Maybe you should level too if they are too hard for you or maybe hunt in one of the other maps if you can't handle it. You could always start a wizz and see how long it takes you to master that cave using that class, but I guess complaining is just easier.

    I can see dash's point tbh. On a 4x bar whereever I have tried to lvl I can't seem to get that much exp in numa/it etc, in a group of me, jinkx & dash in ET the same 4x made me clear of 30% while gaining less exp per mob due to grouping.

    I think the point being made is there appear to be maps more suited to wizzes in terms of exp gains than any other class rather than "it's so much easier to be a wizz". It would be nice if there were maps where tao's/warrs could lvl on an even basis with the high lvl wizz's.

    Kong if people making comments that you disagreed with are what made you leave Mir then your not the person I thought you were, people do have different opinions and write things in different manners as well (when I'm rushing at work my posts may not be as clear as some but I try). Try see it from others points of view before you shoot people down / get peoples backs up.

    No fuss here, the place is fast for wars also (3850per mob is v good), no moaning its great for higher levels of all classes. much better than the slow ache that was yims.

    Glad to see holly can handle it :P maybe its just down to experience on how to hunt specific mobs.

    on a similar note.

    we did suggest some maps change over to be designed for the different classes but it got knocked back.

    would i be right in thinking that maybe we do actually want some caves aimed at the specific classes now?
