Christmas Event Patch Download

You will need to download these files to be able to see the snow map for the event.

when the file has been unzipped (using winrar - available here . Download WinRar )

you will find 2 folders, one which says Paste_Into_Data_Folder and one which says Paste_Into_Map_Folder.

take a copy of the contents of each folder and then paste them in to the folder it tells you.


To find your way to your mir folders, "Right Click" on the "Mir Shortcut" and then select "Properties", then select "Find Target" you will now have the Mir Folder Displayed and the Map and Data folders can be found in this folder.

im aiming to get the server down by 6:30-6:45, it will then take a few minutes to make the changes and then a few more minutes to get the final tests done, then it should come back online - im hoping it should be back online by 7:30PM (GMT)

Always best to spend an extra hour on tests when server is down than have an unscheduled reboot at a busy time. Even then you may miss something with so many parts to the event. Hope it goes well

we have had Ares checking things out all day on the test server but we will defo do a few tests before bringing the server straight back up (encase i lose anything in the move >.< ) it should only be Items/Mongen/Monsters that need to be moved accross though in the reboot (hopefully everything else should be inplace on the server/in the db ready for a simple reboot - Touch Wood )

noo noo :P we dont do live database changes now so kit loses should be a very rare occurance

thats good to know (i took screeins of me kit last night as i a have no idea why or how this happeneds just to be safe :P)
