This is just an idea, feel free to shoot me down if you like. The event is very good in my opinion, I am really enjoying it. Although now it seems like I am doing all this for a few tokens at the end of it. Here is an idea;

- Make an NPC, kind of quest-like, that will collect the entire Chrimbo or Christmas set. Which you can only use once. It might have to be that you hand the set up to a GM to stop people using multiple characters

- In return for the entire set you get an item of choice (say ChristmasChain1) which stats won't be downgraded after event

- You can only use this ONCE for either christmas or chrimbo items, you cannot get an item of each type

- You cannot choose to keep the Blade or armour as this would ruin the style of Mir armour. Just choice between the rest (which aren't noticeable while running around)

Just an idea, as it would make people put alot of time into the event and actually have something to take out of it once its over.

^^ i like the idea - but the reason the stats are so high on the items is because we had intended on removing them.

maybe we can do soemthing like that for the next event (i think the next major Holiday would be Valentines so we can see what we can come up with for that )

Then maybe a lesser item could be laid out for this purpose... An item that is still worth collecting all these christmas goodies but will not ruin anything?

well the 2 ideas that have bounced between me and Shirley so far have been either a decent stat Medal/Charm or maybe even a Non SpecialRepairable, Non orbable, Dura 2 Para/Pro/Clear something like that but i need to speak to Ares/Penny/Mira before i make an final decisions

Understood, get your brainstorming on! My opinion would be to not make it a special ring... takes too much away from people who have them. A nice helmet or boots/belt would be cool

I agree that it shouldnt be one of the uber rings even on dur 2.

I like Dash's idea of a special belt or boots that wouldnt upset the apple cart too much...

what bout decent medals that u cant repair at all abd u can stock pile them up. idea stolen from euro i know lol, bit like ice or what ever it was
