When inside the pk vill the idea is to be able to fight each other for the bosses/invasions spawned, you do end up going red so when you die you will drop your entire bag - my question to you is.

lol i have a few options to choose from on the list.
but the map setting itself needs to be told whether to allow players to drop on death in there. as its the over riding factor
so depending on the anwser to "should you drop in there" - will determine the next options which are....
i can adjust
"PK'ers drop equiped items" (this one can be adjusted from 1 which is drop very often to 200 which is Verryverry rarely) {if you are red}
"PK'ers drop Whole Bag" (this one can either be turned on or off){if you are red}
"PK'ed Drop equiped items" (this can be turned on or off) {if you are white/yellow and killed by someone else}

if i lower the setting, it will effect the entire server - not just the pk vill - i personally dont mind the pk'ers dropping their items - its one of the punishments for pkingbut when your pked and you havent done anything to the pker and then you drop your most valuable item its pretty gut wrenching so im not inclined to lower the pk'ed setting very much (as i have died in game a couple of times and have dropped items with it at its lowest possible setting >.< )
so for now lets wait and see if people actually want death drops in the map at all(which atm looks like a no, which suits me as thats how i originally set it lol and if it stays like that i can launch it in its full and proper state rather than having it change on the next reboot
)
after all its supposed to be a bit of fun and dying without dropping will make you want to go back and fight again Veeeengence (dont forget theres no pot shop in the map yet so you can only use what you find from the bosses and what you can carry into the map.)
(i might try and find a way of displaying peoples pk points on a npc somewhere in the map that way you can work out whos there and who you should watch out for)

If it effects the whole server then the answer should be yes.
Reasoning behind this is that low rate was setup as a no/anti pk server, if we lower the deterrents for pk'ing we are turning into med/high rate.
Dropping the whole bag is a bit harsh but if its one or the other i would prefer the deterent to be in place.
I would ask is there anyway to drop the number of points on a certain map as if the map is designed to be a pk map then it would stand to reason to make the amount of kills higher before you turn red....

i dont think i can change the points for individual maps.
in the pk map pk points dont actually have any use other than being a number attached to your character. (which i might be able to convert into a score board)
when you leave the map you will end up getting your points cleared buuuut you will then recieve 99 points so when you leave the map you will be White no matter how many people you have killed in the map.
i can leave the red player drops full bag accross the server but i can make it so you dont drop items at all in the PK vill map that means that nothing will drop from players if they die in the map whether they are white, yellow or red but back in the regular world it will be the normal drop rates for everyone (very low for white/yellow/red for body, but full bag contents for Red players)
i have a feeling if people start dropping in the map it will turn into an unused feature (or used only by the strongest players which would only make them stronger)
but its up to you guys really ^.^ so lets see how the votes go![]()

think bag contains is ok as if u killed the boss and he dropped good and its in ur bag and some1 kills u and then gets the drop sounds fair to me dont like the idea of dropping of ya body after months work to get it as gd as u can just to lose it in 1 death abit sucky !
I think PK village should stand by getting drops. If you want to fight for just fun there is always the option of the contest room, you wont drop anything there. PKing serves three purposes; fighting for fun, unloading agro and getting items too.
Drop whole bag on death, if red. If you can make it a 25% drop rate if white, that'd be cool
25% chance of dropping equipped items, be you red, yellow or white.
Edit: Just noticed that you said random spawns... Will coords of players be available somehow, or will there be most of the time spent looking for both the players and the mobs? As Castle Gi is big enough

i actually chose castle gi because its one of the smallest maps(its only got something like a 450/450 traversable area )
i believe there is a way to find out where a player is but i dont intend to add it in to this feature, as it would make it a little to easy for the attacker/s
^^ it should be a different spawn spot each time so it will have to be a race to find both boss and players alike![]()
