Lag Issues

Has the server been particularly laggy of late? Or is it me? Lost 4.5mil of pets in 36 hours due to lagouts and green coding

Not just you, I know Myself, Pete and the rest of our guild have been having some terrible lag.

yeah were on a dedi - i wonder if the firewall has been installed..... i havent had a chance to play in a while so ill see what its like later on tonight when im home and able to play

Not sure if same problem but since hitting 68+ ive had the odd bit of lag but nothing major. But the disconnects have been very very bad . I tried at first to see if there was a pattern to it or they just random (but didnt learn much). But mostly when i have pets, or on xp boost, or both. (never lagged out when solo in jin)

And man, have i lost a lot of money in the process .

Would check Jin make sure it was nice and full of mobs , go back to Bichon buy pets and start x4 xp. When back at Jin lvling, BANG , things start to go wrong, lag at first then char stands still, mobs dont move. So, i go downstairs fill glass with more wine (a good Marlborough sauvignon blanc , i might add ) but on return still lagged out.On reboot im normally still in the same place in the cave but pets gone and same with xp. Ive lost count the amount of times this has happened , but not just in jin, same in IT,Numa & LD. Not sure if it a char lvl thing or cave/dungeon thing prob but i cant ever remember disconnect from lvl1 to 60.

I dont play much now for this very reason , just no fun when you think your next spell or move may result in a lag out.

But this is not a moan(just thought the info may help), Lone and the rest of you guys do a great good.

think due to the amount of mobs in JT you lagg out when u have pets maybe to much info going through the line @ once i know jinkx was moaning about it with tads in ET2nd seems to be the same as JT tho we had a ram upgrade didnt seem to fix this problem maybe something to do with our own lines/ram

and there also seems to be a problem with expx4 at the end you lagout/dc solo or in a group(the whole group dcs/lagsout)
tho not sure if anything has been tried to fix this .

not happy at all with this lag tbh just used 150 gp's and 100 tokens to lvl my tao then lag out!!!!

is there ne way ppl that have lost things get them bk as its NOT our fault(the lag)

Sorry but unless its caused by myself or a server side cockup which kicks everyone then we cant return the items. if we started we wouldnt ever hear the end of it and im sure we would end up banning people for taking the piss with it.


It does seem that maybe x4 exp has something to do with it, so maybe i should change it so there is a longer x3 available.

Also the bigger boss type pets - i think there might be something odd with them (im not sure if its a combonation of the 2 or if its just something specific)

what pets do you get access to at level 60? i wonder if maybe they are hitting to fast or something like that which might end up crashing the owner.... i know that i used to get lots of greenwriting in shipmap when the place was packed.

but im not really sure >.<

No worries, I told Ariana about replacements and also stated that I would win the fight of kicking each others shins in over the matter lol For the record No I do not have fat feet I am just a vicious sod =P

Was there anything that you wanted me to check in game in regards to pets or anything else? or do you have it all covered for the time being?
