(its going to take 52 minutes appearntly >.< i need to find an alternative host for my site as im getting a pooey dl speed from them >.< only 250k a sec!)

hmm ill try with DAP and see what that does to improve the speed....

LMFAO Download Accelerator Plus boosted the DL speed from 250kbs to between 5000kbs-8000kbs! 3 minutes instead of 52

2minutes 43 seconds for a 974mb! gotta love technology :P

cool cool i should have it reuploaded with the correct IP address and all patches applied within the hour im hoping (i've not try DAPs upload feature, but we have a 20mb upload stream anyway

does DAP help torrents to ?? as i was getting 200-500kbps download speed and last few days it has gone down to 40-100

hmmm im not actually sure ill have a lookie about the program - the general idea of it is, it opens up multiple connections to the same file bringing it down in seperate chunks and then reforming it at the end (so a bit like Torrents but slightly different

Torrents rely on multiple people having and sharing the file you are after and then you take a small amount of data from each of them.)

hmmm i can grab things from FTP sites but i cant actually upload to them with DAP but its ok because i actually have an upload speed of 16.55mb so the file is now uploaded ^.^
