did speed test. i know only getting between 3-4 mb atm but still though enough for mir

upload speed seems well down mind

KONG, your speeds are the very same as mine and I run mir just fine, so the only possible reasons I can see are either your FPS is far too low (your always on about your hamster computer so this seems likely) or that your sharing your connection with others.

I remember running mir on a really old computer during euro beta which gave me an fps of 4 - 6 which is terrible. I lagged loads and it was the computers fault an dnot my connection

the fact that ur upload speend is extreamly low will be the main reason for lag, as you are sending data to the server.

^^ i have the same upload speeds and although my game wouldn't run as smoothly as U4ea's I still experience no lag when playing. Well very little lag.. What I get is just that I am very slighty behind the server. Nothign that is noticeable unless you look for it.

on decent pc atm, think its cos im sharing conection with others. thank you dash, ill go slap them now =P

I share my network with a few others in the house and I only have a problem with my speeds when someone is actively downloading a file. So we came up with just allowing people ot download their shiz overnight. Leaves the day free to play games and people can sleep while they download :P
