Need a computer wizz to help me plz

today i logged on my computer and i seem to have a new anti virus system working called personal antivirus and it keeps throwing up you have a critical system warning but i have never seen this application before and when you do a search for the programme in my computer it cant be found m so confused lol is there away i can delete this file as it is sitting on my tool bar at bottom right hand side of screen and is doing my head in as im sure if i had a virus my avg would have picked it up
