    Default LowRate Player Guide

Welcome to MirRevenge Low Rate Guide

This is an unofficial guide written by players for new players or existing players who need help.

The Exp requirement for LowRate has been restructured, there are no more massive jumps in required exp so there is no more "BrickWall" feeling when leveling. You will also not lose exp from monsters as you increase levels, for example this means that a level 100 will get the same exp for a WoomaTaurus as a level 45 would.

Starting a new character on the server all classes should follow the same guide lines:-

    1) Collect the Starter Kit from NPC in BichonWall SafeZone.

    2) Use the PetRentalTeleport given (Double Click) and speak to the NPC in the PetRentalRoom to collect your free pets.

    3) Use the TownTeleport given to you (Double Click) to teleport back to BichonWall SafeZone, Speak to Soldier NPC in BichonWall found at 337:254 Select the option to go to the Map For Everyone.

    4) In here you will find the monsters (mobs) that will not harm you but will level your pets to level7 which will give them improved stats. This cave is intended to level your pets fast and effectively to give you more time to hunt around the land of Mir, this cave also gives you the added bonus of levelling you as a character through the early beginner levels. It is worth while for you to leave this map in your early to mid teen levels.

This is the point where different classes will go separate ways in levelling.

You should all upgrade kit wherever possible. To view kit items in game you can visit the DataBase Viewer - http://193.200.158.165/

    The Warrior Guide:-

    1) Stay in the Map For Everyone with your pets until you are level 15 and have received Slaying on level up (This will be in your bag or may drop on the floor if you don't have enough space)

    2) At level 15 you can try BichonMines until level 25 or 26

    3) At level 25 you can venture into BugCave in Mongchon Province. Pets will give you a good advantage here, with Halfmoon you will tear though mobs here with kit such as PowerRings, DeathGauntlets, GaleNecklace and PowerAxe although Dragon Sword and GreatAxe are better if you can get them.

    4) Stay in BugCave until level 38 when you can learn CrossHalfMoon, then you can explore PrajnaTemple. Some may say that's a bit tough at this stage but for some its fine. At approximately level 38 you should start the RedMoonQuest found at Perry in TaoSchool for RedMoonKit, which has good base stats and excellent AC/AMC for this level. You should aim to complete it at level 45 so you can wear the items.

    6) After getting the RedMoon Kit, PrajnaStoneCave and PrajnaTemple KingRoom will give you good leveling until you are level 58 – 60.

    7) Once your level 60, get hold of a CrimsonPlate, which gives you good AC and AMC this will take a lot of hits off you in IceTemple. Here you will find GhostKnights, PossedGuardians amongst other mobs.
    8) At level 65 – 70 or when you have sufficient kit to go to Yims.

    9) Then you can go to Jinchon Temple. Once your level 74 you can shoulder dash the lesser mobs, and the MuntanCaptains at level 76. Which makes moving about a lot easier to do.

NOTE:- All of this will be greatly accelerated by the use of Pets (Mainly FrostTigers at lower level), and from 2x Exp from ExpBars, and Exp increases from the TokenNPC in BichonWall SafeZone.

    The Taoist Guide:-

After the MapForEveryone there seem to be 2 options for Taoists,

    Option 1

You can level with the help of FrostTiger Pets which you can get from the TokenNPC in BichonWall SafeZone at the cost of 25Tokens.

One of the ways to collect the Tokens is to kill OmaWarriors for Tokens or you can go to mineral mines and mine till until you get enough Gold to buy yourself 25Tokens from the TrustMerchant or directly from other players.
Once you have the FrostTigers you can venture into Natural Cave until approximately level 35 when you should start exploring PrajnaStoneCave or PrajnaTemple.

Tree Path and RedMoon Valley is good for exp around level 35, here you can start the RedMoon Quest found at Perry in TaoSchool for RedMoon Kit, which has good base stats and excellent AC/AMC for this level. You should aim to complete it at level 45 so you can wear the items.

If you can group with a Wizard and Warrior and Teleport into Battleground with you, you will benefit from the fast Exp.

After getting the RedMoon Kit, PrajnaStoneCave and PrajnaTemple will give you good leveling until you are level 58 – 60.

    Option 2

You can level on your own with the use of your Skeleton in BugCave until your approximately level 35.

After getting the RedMoon Kit, PrajnaStoneCave and PrajnaTemple will give you good leveling until you are level 55.

At level 55 you can start to explore off into different areas of Mir. Many people have different ways of reaching the next big milestone of level 60. You can head off to a province called EvilProvince or you can head to Yims with a good AC and DC kit.
At approximately level 60 you can start to explore IceTemple, NumaTemple and JinchonTemple. Although some preferred to stay and level in Yims until approximately level 68.

NOTE:- Be warned that you should not allow your pets to stand close to you in Numa as the NumaMage's will attack you greatly.
For level 38 obtaining SpiritWind is a must!! This is a very useful spell for leveling

    The Wizard Guide:-

    1) Stay in the Map For Everyone with your pets until you are level 16 and have received HellFire on level up (This will be in your bag or may drop on the floor if you don't have enough space)

    2) At level 16 you can venture to WoomaTemple lobby and kill CaveBats and CaveMagotts until you are level 17 and receive ThunderBolt. In WoomaTemple lobby PetRentalTeleports drop often which are useful to get more pets.

At level 17 you have 2 options

    Option 1

Venture to Prajna Island and kill mobs one at a time leveling ThunderBolt in the process. This is a safe option until level 22+

    Option 2

    Venture straight to BugCave.

    3) BugCave is good solid leveling area until mid level 30's. Stay here until level 33 upgrading pets and kit when ever you can

    4) At level 33 Tree Path and RedMoonValley is a great place to level, and you can do level 33 - 40 in no time.

    5) At level 33 you should be able to venture into WoomaTemple KingRoom. Killing WoomaTaurus' is a great way of getting basic kit, small amounts of Gold and a good way to start saving up your gamepoints which drop in scrolls (Double Click), Tokens, BenedictionOils and also the odd rare item.

    6) At approximately level 38 you should start the RedMoonQuest found at Perry in TaoSchool for RedMoonKit, which has good base stats and excellent AC/AMC for this level. You should aim to complete it at level 45 so you can wear the items.

    7) Once your level 40 PrajnaStoneCave is you next port of call. With ThunderStorm and MetoerStrike you should be able to level here until level 45.

NOTE:- Be careful - Don't try to kill more than your kit will allow you too.

    8) Once your level 45 and have the RedMoonKit you explore PrajnaTemple, BlackDragonDungeon, ZumaTemple and PrajnaStoneCave in more depth.

    9) Once your level 60 and have a FireyCrest IceTemple will be easier and Yims is a great place to level.

    10) From level 60+ the places where you can hunt is dependant on your kit.

With improved kit you can hunt JinchonTemple until late level 80's.

EvilTemple 2nd floor is great leveling for level 80+ or if you have a good kit you can venture in there as early as level 70+

    Enhancement System

If you are a new character, as soon as you level up to level 2 you will be given a new menu to select an option from, every 4 levels after this (up until level 98) you will get the menu.

The menu will offer 5 choices.

    MP
    HP
    MC
    DC
    SC

Once you select one of these options you will get the second menu which lists the various levels of enhancment available for that stat, from level 1 to 25.

You will be able to improve your Enhancement every 4 levels.

Each higher level will add a little extra of that stat to your enhancement when you cast them.

You are only restricted by your level!

Once you have selected your enhancements you will only need to press the 7 button to get them to become active and cast them.

There is no restriction on how often you can use your enhancement so you can continually cast it, it doesnt level its just a bonus for leveling your character.

Simply type @Enhance in game and it will bring up your enhancement menu, you will also see a reset option that lets you clear your previous enhancement choices and selected again.

    Making Gold

-At a low level killing CaveMaggotts in the mines or WoomaTemple lobby to get PetRentalTeleports is a good way of making Gold.

-Mining is slow but a sure fire way of making Gold

-At a higher level you can start hunting WoomaTemple KingRoom for Tokens and GamePoints which both can be sold on.

-BugCave Gold drops are good so you can combine leveling and making cash

-At high levels IceTemple Gold drops are pretty good, armours also drop which you can sell to the Khin NPC in BichonWall Safezone.

-EvilProvince Gold drops are also good and Hell items can drop.

-NumaTemple is great for item drops to sell on.

RedMoon Kit Quest guide: (Known as the Euro HolySword Quest)

    http://www.mir2resource.info/guides/...word_quest.php

    Pet Rental:

In your quest to level on Mir Revenge you have the ability to call in help from pets, these are available from an NPC which can be teleported to using a PetRentalTeleport, these can either be purchased from the TM (TrustMerchant) or hunted, the easiest place to obtain these is in the lobby of Wooma Temple or Bichon Mines.

There are different pets for different levels (and various free pets to aid you on you way every five levels from level 40), different pets are more useful than others in different caves and hunting areas so be careful to choose the right pets for where you want to hunt and of course these pets do not come for free so please take care of them. Although some Pets have the same skin they may have better stats, Pets found with a H means that they have improved AC/AMC than the same named and skinned mob from the level before.

Once you have chosen your pet you can use the NPC in Bichon Wall to teleport to the 'Map For Everyone' which is full of mobs which don't really hurt but are quick for your new pets to level and gain extra HP and DC enabling them to last longer and do more damage, well worth a couple of minutes to maximise there use!!

    CAVES GUIDE>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Bichon Province

This is the province that you start in when you first log into the game. It is home to many different towns and also many different caves. There is the main town of Castle Bichon which is located in the middle of the map. There is also Ginko Tree and Border Town. From this province you can run to the provinces of Prajna, Serpent Valley, Woomyon Woods and also the 2nd Castle located within this game called Great Wall. It is home to many different caves such as Natural Cave, Oma Cave and Bichon Mines. The mobs in the province are all low level and easy to kill.
In BichonWall SafeZone you will find the Teleport NPC that can teleport you to other towns in the land of Mir, The Tower and PK Ville.

Map: Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Provinces

    Oma cave

This is a low to mid level cave with 3 floors. It contains a lot of the Oma mobs that are ideal for low to mid level to level from. There is a Boss room located off the 2nd floor which contains the Boss called OmaKingSpirit. This boss is killable in a group at around 45ish but can be soloable later on if you have the patience. Located also on the 3rd floor is 2 OmaLords, these are reasonably strong and are killed by higher level characters of approximately level 60.

Map: Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Oma Cave

    Oma natural cave

This is a low to mid level cave with 2 floors and another 2 floors that take you to the OmaCave. It contains a lot of the Oma mobs that are ideal for low to mid level to level from. There is a Boss room located off the 1st floor which contains the Boss OmaLord. This boss is reasonably strong and is killed by higher level characters of approximately level 60.

Map: Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Oma Natural Cave

    Prajna Island

This is a island that can be reached by a Teleport Npc.Within this town all the necessary NPCs that you need are here!! There are 4 caves on this island all aimed at the level 35+. These 4 caves are Prajna Temple, Prajna Cave, Prajna Stone Cave and Battleground. There are also some Ghouls on this island which are killable by lower levels which can be useful to level upon.

Map: Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Provinces

    Battle Grounds

Firstly you will need a group containing at least one of each class and three UnknownOrbs (you get the orbs from Bart the torch NPC on PrajnaIsland). The group leader should talk to the Bichon Inspector (Near the TimeStone on PrajnaIsland) to teleport you into the cave, once in BattleGround you have 3 hours before you will be teleported out. The cave only has one floor, all over you will find mobs from AST, ZT, RMV and PT - All mobs are a bit harder then the ones in there respective caves. You will find one IZT and one MTK along with some other low level bosses around. Loads of Gold drops from all mobs.

Map: Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Battleground

    Mongchong Province

One of the largest provinces in Mir. Home to BC (Death Valley), ST, ZT and FC. Also the legendary SabukWall lies in the middle of the province. The mobs in the province are all low level and easy to kill.

Map : Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Provinces

    Bug Cave

This first cave where people tend to spend a fair amount of time, filled with Centipedes, Giant Worms, Black Maggots, Tongs, Evil Tongs and if you can find him Evil Centipede. Numerous interlinking maps suitable for the lower level players and always busy with enough mobs to keep any trigger happy player satisfied. A good opportunity to make some money early on the game while gaining experience and a slim chance to find the elusive Bug Juice, find this and you should get a nice reward from the higher level players who are usually on the look out...

Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Death Valley

    Stone Temple

The home of the boars, Red, Black and the elusive White Boar which is only found once you've navigated your way down to the fourth floor! Throw a couple of Black Maggots who seen to have escaped from Bug Cave into the mix and upto your late fourties you have a fun place to level! If you can find your way through the Stone Temple Maze a Kings room awaits, filled with WedgeMoths, White Boars and the EvilSnake to keep you on your toes.

Evil Snake drops a multitude of items, Benediction Oils, Tokens and a load of pots to keep you healthy and the Golds not to bad either.

Within the maze if you've saved your Gold is also an NPC called Jamie who hides in a corner who will be more than happy to take Gems from you and upgrade them to Gem(L)'s or if you've got enough then Gem(L)'s into Orbs which can be sold for a pretty penny on the TM or enhance your kit!
NOTE:- The Khin NPC in BichonWall SafeZone will also upgrade your Gems and Orbs.

Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Angled Stone Tomb

    Zuma Temple

A great low to mid level cave good for leveling upto approximately level 50 depending on your class. It is a large temple totaling 7 floors with 6th being a maze to find the 3 room deep 7th before the KingRoom with the famous ZumaTaurus (ZT).

ZT is not a boss to be solo'd until your kit is developed a bit more or you have a lot of guts and skill.
The Boss does have a very good drop file and some really good items can drop from him.

    Map: http://www.mir2resource.info/maps/zuma_temple.php

    Fox Cave

A challenging mid lvl cave with a range of different types of mobs with different attacks from DC MC SC slow n hard and quick n fast! Its worth going to FC with a group as you require a group to get to the boss and the KingRoom is a challenge until you get to a much higher level. You do require an AdmissionOrb to get into KingRoom which you can get from the mobs in the cave.

Mir 2 Resource - Maps: Fox Cave

    Evil Province

Evil Province is a lot more dangerous than all the others, the RevengeMobs there pack a lot more a punch than mobs in any other provinces so noobs beware. There is also the Boss Evil Lord who has a good drop file. Also the mobs can drop Hell items which are very useful.

    Ice temple

This is a 60+ temple it is recommended that you come here when you have crimson/fiery/cleric robes. There are 4 floors before you reach 2 KingsRoom. The first KingRoom is home to the Boss HwanMaTrooper and the 2nd KingRoom is home to Demonic Ice Captain and another Hwan Ma trooper. The 3rd and 4th floor are both good for leveling and are also good for the orbs/armours that drops that can be sold on to make valuable Gold!! On the 3rd and 4th floor you will find a Possed Guardian that is quite dangerous if you are not careful this can also drop some semi good stuff such as orbs books etc. Also you need to watch out for the Ice Guardians and the Ice Captains which have the ability to slow you down.

    Evil Temple

A high level cave most suited to wizards but a Warrior and Taoist verison is now ingame so everyone can benefit. 2 floors of hard hitting mobs. It's suggested to be over level 80 before stepping foot in here. Evil temple is also the entrance to Hell and MinoX cave, 2 great places when your much higher level.

    Lost Province

    In this province you can find;

    Numa Temple

This is a level 63+ temple. there are 5 floors and a KingsRoom. In the KingsRoom you will find 2 NumaChiefs (sub boss) and 1 maybe 2 Tadanga's depending on when it was killed last. The boss has a range hit mob and has the ability to remove poison off itself. The 3rd and 4th floor are quite good for levelling on. In this cave the mobs do drop 4 sets of items which are Subtle/Destra/Melted/Numa kit!!
NOTE:- Warning do not allow people or pets to get to close to you as the NumaMage's have the ability to hit harder with people around you (this is not a bug).

    Jinchon Temple

This is a cave for level 63+ as it is recommended that you have the Numa Armours due to some of the mobs hitting hard. There are 5 floors and a KingRoom which contains the Boss Jinchon Captain and some times if your lucky and it hasn't been killed 2. Watch out for this boss as he has the ability to teleport you to him, if you hit him from a distance and he also has the ability to green poison you. The 3rd and 4th floors are quite popular with many different characters in game as it is a very good place to level as the Mutant Captains (a sub boss) gives very good exp. Be warned that 5th there is a mob that has the ability to paralyse you so that you cannot hit. To reach the boss it is advised that you go to 5th in a group although if you have 350% PoisonResistance (PR) then you are not effected by the poison. Warning if using pets do not allow them to stand close to you as the evil Priestess' can hit really hard (this is not a bug).

    Default Re: LowRate Player Guide

This thread is being complied from the LowRate Guide Draft providing a more structured and clean thread.

Please Note:- Parts of the guide are still being moved over and will be completed in due course, due to the nature of the server new hunting areas may mean that certain parts of the guide will become out dated and new areas will step in place of previous advice.

(Mentioned as missing in the previous thread but not added to the guide, hunting in Evil Province, The Tower, PK Ville)

Many Thanks to all of those that have previously helped in the making of the guide, any future additions to the guide will be greatly appreciated.
