invasion days

this is how they are going to work when they appear as a feature of the server next week.
we are plugging away to try and get everything thats needed for it into mondays reboot.

on tuesdays and thursdays when the invasion kicks off you will find one mob if you tele to sw first, when you kill this one mob it will kick in the invasions that you guys have been helping out and testing.

all mobs have been changed to invasion copys of the real mobs bar one or two bosses. this is mainly so we dont have a carpet of useless drops any more, doing it like this also gives a couple of bonuses which means that we can change the exp on the mobs and change drop files which will not effect the rest of the server.

as you go along you will have to track down and kill the invasion boss in the invasion to spawn the next wave. invasion tadanga for example. there will be a global shout indicating that the next wave has been spawned so that its not a complete suprise for ppl.

this means that to a certain extent its not controled by gm's anymore, altho they do start it off with the first mob the rest is control by the server at the rate you guys kill.

Have you got the trigger mobs scripted yet?? if not we'll need to either put them in the Qfunction ( which is getting massive) or in the MapQuest i was talking about the other day

im trying to sort out the scripts out thismorning, im half way there. do i have to put anything different into the scripts if its going in the map quest instead of the qfunction? i was guessing that it would be the same.

im pretty sure its the same - we can do a quick invasion before we let everyone log back in, in the next reboot to test it
