    Default Rebirth ideas

    ok how about this. with a little bit of imput from a couple different people. i like the idea of different classes having different rebirth levels like warrior 105 tao 110 and wizard 115 or 120.

    when u rebirth yourself i think it should clear all of the gold that u currently own and possibly empty you're stoarage. ( not too sure about the stoarage part myself yet)

    then there can b an npc that will enhance 1 set of items of you're chooseing. for example 2 rings 2 bracers 1 necky armor helmet boots belt stone orb and weapon. but only those items. can't do like 4 rings instead of 2 bracers and soforth. the items would then have some fancy name or as kong mentioned before maybe even the players name incorporated into the items. the items would also b special repairable and can only b worn by that person that has rebirthed.

    then i would suppose the person should also b stripped of all of their levels (with the items still being useable) and also with the same base stats that they had at rebirth. if i am right this will also give the character the level up enhancements they we all had up till level 100 again. least as far as i know after lvl 100 u get no more enhancements (correct me if i am wrong on that)

    i also like the idea of rebirth caves. places that only people who have rebirth'd can enter with new items and soforth. but set the caves up so that at noob levels with their base stats from high lvl's they arn't too overwelming at first and progressivly get harder.

    and i read on other post about adv spells, like the idea u can update some of the older spells and ones that arn't currently used by some of the classes. for example as a wizard i find my clone to b completely useless. but if there was a reborn version of the skill that made the clone more effective then i would love to use it as a help and not just an mp drain while i'm lvling. for war and tao i'm not sure what skills to improve on for them but i would guess maybe sd and ba for the warrior and maybe a form of hideing for a tao that lets them walk a certain distance (number of steps) before it wears off and or even a new summon, throw some skin on the old bone familiar and give it some snazzy name lol

    so inturn from doing the rebirth u get to lvl you're character all over again, get more stats from enhancements as u lvl up, get new places to lvl, and a custom set of gear to start u off with that won't leave u hanging as a total noob with high noob base stats.

    also there is something from euro mir that i wouldn't mind seeing in here as well. on euro mir there is an effect that swirl's around a players body when they reach lvl 50. if that can b incorporated into rebirth. then that would let other players know that the character they are looking at has gone through the process and isn't just some low lvl.

    for once i actually have enough interest in this addition to the game as i think it would put some of the starting over aspects into a character and things to look forward to without haveing to actually start a new character and loose all their work on previous ones.

    please feel free to chop my ideas up if u wish it's just my 2 cents. :P

    i like every aspect of this idea, even the getting rid of all items and kit and storage and gold, just means that the caves for rebirth need to have good drops tho which will probably make people get rich fast.

    not many people would rebirth if u lost all that tho.

    thats actually a good post but im gonna read it again in the morning not cos im too tired this time but cos ive been down the pub! lol
    my thought about rebirthing to lvl 45 was to cut out the "boring" nooby lvls that ppl tend to dread well i do duno abiout everyones feelings

    Adv sd and ba would be abit useless :P only thing I use as a war really is tdb and chm and occasionally fs ^_____^

    I think emptying bag and store is slightly pointless though as everyone would just shift all their stuff to another character first

    maybe there is a way to check ip for stoarage characters then and clear them also

    thats the point of making the rubish spells better. if ba hit a fair wack im sure u would use it. would have to be tested a fair bit 1st to make sure it was worth it.

    i know all this talk is about rebirth but gets me thinking about spells and would be nice to see some upgrades for spells for the higher lvls. think im right in saying theres no spells that have a lvl requirment of more than 65

    I generally think BA is just a completly useless spell, it only hits afew mobs and only if they are stood in the right place >.> a nice upgrade would be LR that doesnt stop as soon as you hit the mobs lol

    Also, you couldn't really delete everything off of any character connected to your account, I have a wiz war and tao and I wouldn't rebirth if they took everything from all 3 :P

    tbh what ever happens ppl will find some way of saving their items n gold. think it would too much of a head ache for gms to find a way round it, even if u did something to store chars what would stop me loaning jinkx a few items and gold for a week??

    i think that the LR idea would work but be a bit extreme. if it work'd that way u may as well just have a pararing and the mobs would never hit back.

    how about a better idea would b that when u use chm that the psn and slow attacks don't just affect the mob in the immediate front of the attack and everywhere that the swing hits gets those effects
