    Ok now correct me if i'm wrong but is there anyone on the server that actually uses e shock?

    If so what are u useing it for?

    ok time for my idea.....

    instead of changeing any of the pets that are currently in the game. Why don't u make some of the more powerfull mobs in the game tameable? (would like to see it longer than the 2 hours or so that u could tame pets for in euromir. hell i remember in fox cave tameing brown frogs sometimes it would take over an hour to get you're 5th frog... anyone else remember that. ok so how about this see if there is a way to make tameing last O' say 24 hours. make some of the mobs tameable that would b well worth lvling with. aka real tads or something allong those lines. then there could b more options for the wizards to choose from instead of just buying pets all the time. they could look forward to some really good pets. but at the price of actually haveing to work for them and also have a timelimit for them. i read in one of the posts that a wizard wanted pa added to pets. i personally don't like that idea. but in the origional state of the game u could tame pets that had those ability's already. say for example u go tame a tad or 2 that's you're aoe attack for attracting mobs in, then u tame a adv evil tong or 2 then u have some brute to you're pets, then finally maybe a mob that has a psn attack. not sure of some of them off hand that are mid lvl but u get the idea then u have a good range of pets that can do some damage. all have different stats so should need some looking after. and even the psn attack that i read from other post. but seriously would like to see them last about 10-20 hours as tamed pets before u have to try to retame them or just loose them. would solve from people keeping their pets in sz a bit also.

    just some thoughts from me. plz leave some imput ( gm's and players )

    ps. drives me nuts that i have a spell that used to b so commonly used as a wizard and i never use it now.

    eshock = great for holding a boss still whilst clearing mobs away from it

    would have to agree though making higher level mores tameable would be good, i need to do this on Extreme too (lol the pet npc was only put ingame because eshock was broken, when the npc was removed everyone went nuts and complained, its amusing its now done a full circle and now people want Eshock back lol - but then again this is LR where people tend to have sensible ideas :P {most of the time})

    i think its a bloody brillient idea if it can be done but have a funny feeling that pet taming is hard coded so pets will untame within the 2 hours or w/e. think thats y the pet rental npc came into hr in the 1st place.

    i know it would be a massive job but i do feel pet system as a whole needs re doing.

    oh and also a short term issue with current pet system, lvl up pets are great as a reward and are usefull upto 80, 85 (maybe 90 but not sure what u get). the 100 ones are pretty cool but weak as hell and the 105 and 110 ones are just 2 pets instead of 5 with like 20 more ac amc dc and 1k more hp which tbh no offecne makes them next to no good. apart from being free they really arnt great.
    i know this is moany again but its just at lower lvls the lvl up pets are great and give u a realy good boost.
    this is just a thought but maybe change lvl up pets to 5 mini dd's and then for 105 1 real tadd, lvl 110 a lvl 2 tadd and so on. would mean u would get a useful pet when u lvl up not something fractionally better =P

    would be a short term solution to keep the higher lvls on server happy to have something to lvl for. i know there plans for more caves n kit n what not but this would be alot less work...

    ive no idea what the tame list is like or the tu come to think of it, so its something that I will need to look into.
    i dnt think the untame timer is hard coded it just might need abit of a play tbh.
    im not going into it yet again cos tbh i think it was said enough yesterday, the new additions to the pet rental will be looked at and the same goes for the lvl up pets after a certain lvl as they are based on the pet rental npc.

    awesome that was gunna b my next idea for post the tu list for the new places. would b awesome if they could b settup like numa was when we first started ventureing in there. first the "ranged" mobs were tuable then the others came into picture as we lvl'd up. think euromir had that idea as a baseline long ago when it started in zt with the archers being tuable. gives u a baseline to follow in adv elite zt and the newworld. just my thoughts

    I've put 2 text files on the server desktop for you to look at.

    one called TU.txt and one called Tame.txt

    they contain the names and levels of the mobs that can be TU'd/Tamed you might want to have a look through them before making them public just in case theres anything which shouldnt be TU able and might cause issues :P
