this poll is to simply get veiws from the players on what they think of the current pet system

for the newer players who dont know what happened, pet rentals used to be worth the cash u pay for them, not die in 2 mins in caves for ur lvl and were an assit. unfortunatly the lvl 84 pets (tadds) due to thier attack where too powerful for lvling and unbalenced the game. u could go lvling and they pretty much did all the work.
this is a problem that needed fixing and can remeber lone got stick bout it on extreme and funnily enough day or 2 later all pets on lr got stats cropped.

i know theres all sorts of reason why tadds arnt taken out from pet rentals in the interest of fairness but end of day i been here since day one and think of all the time i spent lvling n what not in caves where i was losing exp as i gained lvls (something u dont do now) exp bars wernt in for good couple of months after lone/penny/shir take over.

i know theres ideas for H versions of pets going in at high lvl but im not sure it will help. these pets dare too weak to help u kill bosses at high lvl.

final point is that both me and jinkx both still buy the lvl 84 pets from rental (we r 113 and 108)

so poll is, old pet stats n take out tadds from rentals

Well it looks as though people like the way the pets currently are.

As i said last time you started a thread exactly like this, Pets arent suppose to kill bosses for you.

if you want to kill the higher level bosses why dont you try not being greedy and take a group with you rather than trying to kill them all with pets solo.

and just so everyone knows, THE OLD STATS WILL NOT BE PUT BACK THE WAY THEY WERE - THEY WERE MASSIVELY OVER POWERED.

Have to agree with lone on this. After playing low rate and going to extreme were pets are help and nothing more. Not boss killers. I think they should stay as they are. Put in the hard work and you'll get the reward. Were's the fun in sitting in a cave whilst you're pets level you.

also i reduced the pet stats long before i took over extreme so im not exactly sure what your refering to Extreme for (infact they change on 19/06/09)

meh, i was only asking and doing poll to see what other players thought... no need to get lairy.

also if u read thread i said to help u kill bosses. not to let them do all the work but help u.

levi, the high lvl pets dont help u lvl and they dont help u kill bosses, they r more pain and cash than they worth. lone has said they not getting changed so ill drop the point now.

personally think pets are fine but then again ive never used pets only the ones u get every 5 levels except tigers round the 40-50s. I get alot more satisfaction doing the killing myself and if i cant kill something i ask for help. Have always loved group hunts and they dont happen enough on this server in all honesty.

I'd look at the pet system as an aid to getting you to high level's once you at the 90s-100s you shouldnt really need the use of pets at that level (id use them for added security realy) and if you do need them then the area ure hunting is designed for Groups wether a boss or just a random cave.

Just the way my mind works towards pets and the game.

can i close this thread now cos its all been covered more than once. wait for the changes to the new pets that i have lined up then comment cos until then your wasting your time, dont expect to kill bosses with them tho.
