Para change - Your choice!

Well, we've not tested this yet, but it seems to be possible, going from the current data. We can alter para in a number of ways, depending on it's strength will change how rare we make it.

We can let people walk, run, hit, cast, all of them, some of them etc, whilst para'd.

well ive not played this server yet so, but to be fair. id say just cast spells to make it more fair

Personally I'm voting for letting people hit, it means they're stuck on the spot, as a Warrior's main trouble seems to be keeping up with their opponent, this makes them strong vs Wiz/Tao and roughly equal to Warriors still.

This means we can keep it pretty rare, without making it insanely rare, that we'd do if para rings were as they are in their current state. OR we could make them semi-rare and introduce anti-para's (reduce chance/duration of poisons, including para).

I intend playing this server - partly due to Prov raping my ears with sheets and sheets of guildchat about it on Extreme - but also cause its very intriguing.

I voted 'all of the above'. Basically a showstopper, cant walk etc. Wouldn't make it overpowering, which paras usually are on servers where warriors can beef up Acc and A.Speed. Which generally means, game over. Especially 1 v 1.

Being able to hit back will throw alot of scuffles against the para-weilder. E.g if theyre on their last legs.

can u make the stop still on the spot but make them slow until the para runs out?

If you were to change the effects of the Para ring... with those options I would say to make it so you are able to use magic and able to hit but stuck in one spot and slowed down. The para ring is something people have always been scared of, i dont think it should be changed tbh. If you dont want to die from a para.. simply TT, then your simply out of the fight anyways.
