I'm thinking of something along the lines of GamePoints for killing a group boss (ZT, Lords, OK, EM and Devil - Plus a few new bosses that we've not sorted out yet), rather than sitting in the KR, for a HUGE amount of GP you'll be able to buy some of the better items, so regardless whether you kill EM 10 times and get nothing of real value from it, you'll still get a lot of GP and thus be able to get decent items through that channel.
I'm unsure whether the GP should be split like exp (more people in group mean less gain per person), to reward people who're better geared, or if it should be a static number, so regardless of how many are in the group, you all get the full reward.
The main point of this is to promote killing bosses and stop people from thinking "Oh typical, 5th time I've killed that boss, takes me an hour to get here and 20 minutes to kill him and yet again, he dropped nothing of value".
We'll slowly change what can be purchased for GP depending on what items have dropped and the general level of players. For example we're not going to have Mir Items on there early on, but once we've got 50 odd players at level 80 and in full Mir sets, of course those items will appear.
I'd prefer giving you lot the choice of what goes in and when, I can't see any future problems with giving you all the details of how many players at levelX we have and how many of ItemX are ingame to make that decision fact based. But we shall see how it goes.![]()
