    Default Some Ideas

    Some things that would improve the game:

    Rolling for items, either 1 when a rare item drops a box opens up and you click roll, like on wow and whoever gets highest roll gets item, or have @roll and group leader picks the item up and everyone that can use does @roll and it comes up with a mesaage saying Garu rolls 55. Highest roll gets item.

    When sub classes are introduced, another idea to steal from wow. Instead of having just rare drops have "tokens" so have special sets for warriors. For all subclasses that you exchange at an npc for the special subclass item. So for instance one boss would drop the brace token for all the classes but they drop as Tao Token, Warrior Token, Wiz Token, You take the token to npc and you can exchange it for the subclass brace for tao if you have tao token. (Hope this makes sense)

    Special bosses that require different classes for instance make a new boss but the room before the boss there is an npc in it that you need to give the "BissBoss Key" to to get the key you have to kill the two bosses in that room. One boss will have 1billion amc and other will have 1billion ac. That means only wiz can kill one and wars can kill others with taos healing and poisoning etc. However both bosses need to die within 10 seconds of each other or they wont drop the key and they will respawn, this will mean taos are needed for rev aswell. Then the boss can be a normal boss as the grp has already worked together to get there.

    As you think of them, or steal them from WoW? Romulo and Julianne, just modified. :P

    WoW has some really amazing aspects and as I've played it basically from start to finish (Vanilla to the end of WotLK), I'll know 99% of what you're saying without needing to explain it further, Ren played it a bit and I don't think Sek's touched it, so I can go in to further detail with them on msn/elsewhere.

    Rolling thing should be possible (I hope), as it's a great way that WoW decided on loot, though I doubt we'll be able to make it as complex as WoW (Need/Greed, FFA/GrpLoot/ML'er).

    Token idea for WoW was great, the best bit of it is that classes will be pretty balanced (a lot of people will have Tao's, but most will use them as alts for when there's none free to level with). Whether they are or aren't balanced entirely well, you can easily trade the token that drops for another with someone that has yours (ie Tao/Warr kill a boss, Wiz token drops, Wiz/Tao kill boss, Warr token drops > Easy).

    I'll have to ask Jamie to ask our coder if things like that are possible, if they are I'll heartlessly rip most of WoW's better bosses off, Kara had some amazing ones (can't remember his name, the one human in there, Mage, ownage AoE... ****er went through CloS too often, killing our Rogues that refused to run out, lol). I think, if it's possible to rip many of their abilities, we can make a lot of them for RB bosses and a few for normal ones, meaning people have lots of really strong reasons to level.

    Your 1m ac / 1m amc one could have an additional thing; The 1m ac will act like Deva - Refuse to stand beside you, continually hitting at range. The 1m amc could be the same as MTK/BL - Cains at range, but is do-able in melee. We'll have to use an npc to make sure there's 2 or more people in the group, to stop Tao's soloing it though. :P

    lol im just doing what WoW did and steal the best part of other games and put em all in one game

    Haha a fair point, think I'll have to go through wowwiki at some point and pick out the better bosses, I like the idea of Kara's whatever-it-was-called on the stage, where you had a random boss (Romulo/Wolf/Dorothy/other one) and you had to either run out and waste 5 mins waiting for it to reset/res/rebuff, or react quickly to the situation.

    So many possibilities, I can see many sleepless nights in the near future (for Ren and Sek, hoho).

    I completly missed out tbc i played vanilla and then wotlk. I hated naxx was to easy but uld was a good challenge. Mim for instance with the 4 phases was awsome and uincorporating that into a boss would mean that you had to have a good grp and each phase could be done by different classes(sub classes) so you need all classes in party.

    Another idea would be adding proper crowd control skills into this server so that you can make "trash" much harder and each class could be able to control different types of mobs in different ways so again full grps are needed.

    God Mimi was a cock-block! If we could get a boss like that ingame... Jebus we'd have some complaints, but it would be AWESOME. I doubt anything that extensive is possible, but things like Rom/Jul should be I reckon (hope).

    Tao's already have TrapHex/Hallu, problem being you need to be a higher level than mobs, which is bit of a bugger considering Tao's level very slowly (though if all the changes I'm hoping for can be done, then they'll level at the speed of the other classes, as they'll be with one 90% of the time), maybe lowering the level requirement for TrapHex to work, I think it's +3 of mobs atm, maybe make it -5 or something along those lines.

    Warriors currently get boned by Tao's in a fight, Advent suggested making LR last longer, which I think is perfect (keeps Deva's constant hits off you for 10-15s? Sounds fair to me), it would also mean that could be used for a PvE (non-players, for people who haven't touched other mmo's :P) aspect, ie CC (Crowd Control... Putting this things in my bloody siggy).

    Wiz's, now that one is rather tough, all they have that comes to mind is EShock (weak as hell, maybe give them a 3x3 eshock, so it's much like trap hex, would also give them a minor advantage vs Tao's in fights, as they can eshock the pets easier) and Blizz (slow for a little bit of time). I'll have a think whilst putting these bits in my siggy.

    Just ripped a nice idea off of WoW whilst posting plans for LMS on Extreme, 2v2! In the future maybe 3v3 as well, but 2v2 will be a main focus.

    Hopefully Tao's won't be so insanely strong (in group fights) on Evo, if they are, we'll probably have to drop single LMS and keep it to duo LMS + 2v2 comps. I did a lot of these (duo/trio comps) on my old server in CR, always ****ing good fun as we often had 4-7 teams and one would suddenly turn on another when they were getting raped, then they'd be out for the count.

    Just thinking of rules for it, I'm thinking either;
    Anything goes (basically), no Pro/Para's (when they happen to drop, or maybe even allow them? They'll be damn rare), use whatever kit/char you wish to.

    OR and this will be bit of a long one as I'm starting to like it; Everyone who has a character level 60 or above (maybe 40, then 50 and finally 60) will pm me/Ren/Sek on the forums (or email, whatever) with their user ID (on their main acc ~ IP addi might be safer) and they'll get a "PvP Account", much like how DK's work on WoW - Once you reach a certain level you may make one. The difference here is people wouldn't be allowed to put kit on the account, they'd have various items of low value on there (damage kit, defence kit, resistance kit, etc), they wouldn't be allowed to level it or do anything with it apart from PvP. Anyone who mistreats the account (logging on outside the times we allow them to) would get punished severely.

    Would certainly make things fairer, as we could give everyone equal kit/levels/skills.
