    Default Heaven/Hell Items

    Are causing me trouble, with the ac/amc base reduction, leaving them (Hell) as they are makes them massively more valuable than basically any other item for a long time, due to their beefy lower end ac/amc.

    I can either; Swap base and top end ac/amc around on Hell Items, so they have the same armour as Heaven, but reversed stats for sc/mc/dc, or I can extend the ac/amc on Hell and lower their sc/mc/dc (maybe do the opposite with Heaven - extend their sc/mc/dc and lower their ac/amc).

    For example, say;
    HellRing is ac/amc/sc/mc/dc 8-4
    HeavenRing is ac/amc/sc/mc/dc 4-8

    Could make HellRing ac/amc 4-8, sc/mc/dc 8-4
    OR
    Make HellRing ac/amc 6-10, sc/mc/dc 6-2 (or 2-6)
    Then make HeavenRing ac/amc 2-6, sc/mc/dc 6-10

    how about just make heaven items have great defence (the light/good side of fighting) ac/amc, and make hell items have good attack (the dark/bad side of fighting) dc/sc/mc.

    ye sumit like that but the base stats would have to be 1 unless it was armour then it could be as high as 10

    Why remove base ac/amc btw? Gonna make it hard to wizzies in particular

    You dont wanna gimp other classes just to make tao more used.

    makes the game better i beleive. it was discussed in a thread already, less ac/amc means u r not immune to most mobs.

    We're considering just removing the ac/amc (at least the base) from rings and lowering base in general, mostly from bracers. The aim is to make it so people aren't hit immune and in decent stats, if you want to be hit immune you'll need to be a much higher level (and items to match) than the area you're in, or wearing full armour gear (ie rings with just ac/amc 10-10), like the days of Euro when Wiz's would go levelling in full armour kit by TUing rats in ZT, lol.

    Trust me, I've played a Wiz enough (on non-hit immune servers) to know they still level a damn sight faster than the other classes, they just require some level of skill. :P

    I'm for making Hell attack based and Heaven armour based (or vice versa, makes no difference), either way the base ac/amc from Hell Items is being altered.

    i would ahve to ask for no more than 1 base defence on items other than armour though other wise high base will still be acheivable.
