The coder has near enough finished with the server files, he's done a few things we weren't exactly asking for (but are very nice to have), which is why it's taken more time. Once we have got them back it may take a few hours, a few days or even a week(+) to get them in working order. We might find there's some very basic bugs that take minutes to fix, however we might find there's endless problems that we need to get the Coder to do. None of us have had brand new files like this before, so it's guesswork at best.

All things going well, we'll have closed Beta (Staff) sorted within a matter of days and be able to make an open Beta (you lot) within the next week, then have the server go live (more than likely without a wipe, if no major problems occur; like I said before, that should be fixable with a rewind rather than a wipe though) a week or so after that.

Sorry things have taken longer than expected, sadly I have no hand in how quickly this moves along until we get the actual files, so there's nothing I can do other than tell you what's going on and give you the best estimates that we can make.

Ren's pc is out of commission for the rest of the month, but he's confident he knows what's wrong with it (I was confident with my first pc, then I blew the power out in my house... Good times >_<), so fingers crossed he'll be back shortly after the end of the month.

Things are going well with the Coder, he's enjoying this project so we have high hopes that he'll stick with us after this initial work, therefore we'll have a top quality person working for us when we need someone a little more knowledgeable/capable than our Staff (and MUCH MUCH more knowledgeable/capable than myself xD). Posting a thread now, which I'm sure people will be pleased to see.

Minor update, as Ren told me I have to keep you lot as updated as I am, lol.

Jamie briefly spoke to the Coder last night (well, 2-3am today), in general things are going fine, but he found some error that was causing troubles, so he's fixing that as we speak. As Ren said, this is guesswork for us, but we're hoping he'll have the files ready for us in the next day or so, for the Staff closed Beta - Fingers crossed we won't have any more set backs (had bloody enough so far!) and we'll have closed Evo Beta up a few days after.

If only things went according to plan, life would be much easier.
