A New Approach To Mir...

Well as I'm sure roughly half of you know, Mir has an age rating of 14 on it, that doesn't mean much where you don't need to pay, as it'd be a lot of work to make people prove their age.

Anyway we were having a chat today, discussing KongsSchlong (it's a weapon... No seriously, it is) earlier on and the EvilMinge, at which point we realised we're kind of moving on in to adult content, at least the things you wouldn't really want a 14 year old being part of. So we've bumped the age rating up to 16+. It's not yet decided if there will be any kind of punishment for under 16's playing, but we'll have a few warnings that Evo contains more adult-orientated content, so it isn't advisable for people under 16 to play, to save us getting "Wtf my son plays this game, I don't want him seeing this!" type complaints.

After deciding this, we thought about it more, and being the rather fart-orientated-humour trio that we are, we agreed that we'd like to make Mir more fun, when you see a new mob we don't want you to just look at it and say "Oh that's pretty cool", we want you to do that, read the name, put 2 and 2 together, then piss yourself laughing. So the later caves will have more amusing names.

Anything you can think of that would make for a funny mob/item/cave name, please leave it here and we may well use some of them. ^^

Note. We already renamed the 'Dagger' (smallest wep ingame) to 'KongsSchlong', so that's one done. :P

why not just change the names? not like they mean anything to the mir community.

I'm a bit confused whether that was a question or not? My original post said that's exactly what we're doing - Later caves are going to have amusing names, so will a fair few items.

I like this idea, i always get a good laugh at some of the names that are already in the game. Tbh make a Virgin kit for the noobies ~.-
Or rename some spells, blizzard could be recolored yellow and be called, "GoldenShower"
