    Default Running Update List.

    Cerb or I will try our best to keep this updated, but in all honesty they make so many updates (most of them you won't even notice), it'll be impossible to list them all, so we'll try our best to list the majority.

    Reboot at 7pm, adding free tank pets for all levels (namely there to defend against GGPets, which are impossible to balance to the point that they're worth having for PvE, but aren't OP in PvP), which you can get back from an NPC in town. GGPets have been overhauled and are now worth having for levelling, but don't equal an IWIN button when fighting another player. If you're the correct level for a LevelPet (40/60/80/100 etc), you'll be able to get your last LevelPet back for free from an NPC being added in the reboot.

    Donations will be open after reboot, you can email them (paypal) to admin@miremails.com you're welcome to make them now, but there's nothing worth buying until reboot.

    Exp boost has been adjusted to give Wiz's a bit more and Tao's a bit less, Tao's now get TaoHalfMoon upon hitting level 80 (pm myself or Cerb to get it added if you're 80+ and don't have it yet), which helps speed their levelling up a bit.

    Made some adjustments to the level 180(ish) caves so they're more user-friendly regardless of class, but they're still aimed slightly more towards a class each, so you will find one cave is better than the other for you.

    A few DropFile alterations have been made (I doubt anyone will even notice), we're contemplating a few things at the moment, nothing major but it'll help people get through the first part of the game (to RB) a little easier, needs further discussion though, will update this if/when we put it in.

    Level 60-100 (TopGearCave) and level 100-150 (LizardCave) caves added, to provide more variety and an extra two caves to level in (meaning less people per cave, thus more mobs per person).

    Drops altered to free up some system resources and mean less crap drops (yes this means lower caves have had their drop files lowered, anyone on for my 50 user event will tell you Wooma mobs drop an insane amount of items, lol).

    Fair few scripts updated, amended and generally corrected to tie up loose ends, resulting in less errors and therefore less chance in lag.

    Questlog has been removed, it will be overhauled and re-added in the future when it's in a better shape, I'll list the quests in my mini-guide so anyone unsure of them are able to read them.

    Key 8 has been removed, it was leading to some problems for players and the server, we've improved the levelling speed of Warriors and Taoists to come closer to Wizards, key 8 won't be back in the form of a 24/7 use for everyone, as in short, it only causes problems.

    Some skills have been updated to give a little more damage, to keep your levelling speed roughly the same (working with the new pre-RB caves, Wizards no longer feel such a burn at 130-150) after the removal of key 8.

    PA has been removed from Warrior's rings, as even with the 5-6 PA they had, it was doing way too much damage, this will be back in place on higher level rings when mob/player health is higher - You don't need it for the bosses you're meant to solo anyway, regen isn't that high so 2-3 PA is plenty.

    IMPORTANT! PetParkingNPC has been added to SafeZone, make sure you leave your pets here to cut down on the crowding in BW sz, if we reboot with short notice we'll make a note of any pets there (assuming we're returning everyone's) and return any pets left there. You'll have a few days to get used to this, after that pets will be @kill if they're left in sz and we're unable to move them - If they're there and you're afk but they're unrested, we'll recall you to the safe map, if not, well tough, you've had plenty of warnings not to leave them in sz up until now.

    TopGearCave and LizardCave are no longer safe zones and RB players are now able to enter them.

    LDC (in BC - Where EC spawns) is no longer a safe zone, the previous floors however are - If you're a pre-100 level RB player I suggest staying out of LDC, think of your hp compared to the damage you can do, you may well get 1-2 shotted by a much higher level.

    CoupleRings removed, we'll be working on new couple items and special abilities in the near future, but at the minute it's not our main concern, so it will probably be a week or two.

    You can now log out in TopGearCave without getting teleported anywhere.

    A bug fix and the usual minor bits that make no difference to you updated/altered/fixed.

    250th RB (second) fixed, was a bit buggy before.

    150+ GGPets adjusted.

    CorruptedCave added for RB2 people to get back to 250, do it quick as Tainted/Pure is waiting for you at 250. :P

    This will be rather extensive, as it's the first time we've had the server offline long enough to be able to do much while we don't have to worry about things going wrong with people online.


    Bug/Errors Fixed

    Levels at 221 and above have been redone, there was a minor error which through 8 or so levels out, the exp still ramps up wards quite steeply (this is intended, as we want to make sure you've actually visited the caves and see some of the fun features, not just skimmed right past them) towards 250, but it's not even close to as bad as it was before. You'll notice there's the occasional plateau you hit which is either there to tell you that you've just gained access to a new cave, or are about to (or a new set of items, etc), there's not many, but they're there.

    SafeTownTeleports weren't working at higher levels, we may put them back in, in the future but as it is, there's not much point putting the time in to fixing them, when quite literally no-one uses them anyway.

    Quest Items can now be stored/dropped/traded, keep a hand on your PubicBone, you'll never know who'll try and nab it.

    ThunderStorm wasn't hitting as hard as we intended, so that's been upped, we've also slightly increased the damage of FF, as it wasn't doing as much as was intended.


    NPC's

    ReBirthMan has had his script updated slightly, there were some minor errors which included a missing "new line", so it came out of the text box and he also told people the RBNecklace only cost 8 RBTokens, when it cost 10 (sneaky swine!), so that's been fixed.

    PetReturner wasn't giving (bought) pets past level 200, that's been fixed, we'll introduce new pets for 250+ in the following week or so, but due to RB2, it'll be a little time until anyone hits 250.

    Several NPC's have been re-arranged, you'll find a good handful of helpful NPC's are now at the middle/bottom end of SZ, so please go visit them to see what's new.


    Maps/Spawns

    PetParker has had a map replacement, this is only temp, but it's much better than the previous one, as we can search it in a minute or two, meaning less chance of pets being overlooked.

    We've added StoneTemple to the Sigal in MW, this is a non-safe version of BC with better drops. However, you still need to do your quests in BC if you wish to progress along the line, so your best bet is to swap back and forth to give yourself a bit of variety.

    LizardCave's end KR has had it's spawns reduced.

    BoneLord has been reproducing like... Well, an Undead Rabbit, there's now several additional BL spawns throughout PSC.


    Mob Stats

    PB Oma's have had a minor increase in damage, as they weren't doing much damage to players in full RB+1 kit, so were pitiful against people in gear intended for that cave.

    HP on PT mobs has been lowered, MTK has been made slightly hard to compensate - This makes it much better for duo/trio groups who just want to stick to the first couple of floors and get some Rusted kit, without making PT KR too easy. The PT mobs have also had their levels increased, this doesn't mean they're harder, it just means they give the full amount of exp to higher level players (as it was, once you hit 220 you got reduced exp).

    The para affect from Priestesses in JT has been removed, we may add this to a later floor, but that all depends on how easily people get through (we don't want it to be 2 Para Mobs = 10 minute Para, but it's nice when there's an element of danger).

    AMC has been increased again for normal Oma's, as Ants have recently had their attack speed reduced, meaning each cave should (hopefully) fit each class well - Please test this thoroughly before giving feedback, it might need a little tweaking, but it should be fine.


    DropFiles

    A number of DropFiles have been redone, I'm sure more tweaking will be required, but it's a big step forward, don't start complaining if the first 5 bosses you kill don't drop anything, this is a MediumRate, you shouldn't be getting tonnes of rares, but more will be dropping now.

    Bene's have been reduced/removed from lower level caves and put in to post-RB ones, including bosses.

    The drop rate of JinchonPieces has been dramatically increased.


    Item Stats

    I've restatted 29 items, roughly half are ingame, the rest have yet to be seen, you'll notice a minor decrease in your stats before you get Bone kit, but the kit at that level has been improved, to provide a bigger gap, meaning you can't go flatten everything in RB+1 kit now (this is due to the DropFiles being increased, we want to get you working for kit ).


    Additional Notes

    Server's had it's software updated, so to the few people who had lag recently, that will hopefully help things out.

    @tt now takes you to PetParking, this is to encourage people to leave their pets there, rather than BW SZ, it also means red players have a safe teleport to use (then have a friend bring them a GTTele) and finally it leads to a real use for TownTeleports. An NPC in the centre of the cave will take you to BW SZ.

    Don't get your hopes up just yet, but the new server files are steadily coming along, Jamie will be testing them with a number of people in the near future to get bugs cleaned out, when they're more playable we'll see how he wants to go about it, but he'll most likely put them on the test server for people to try out. Once they're all sorted, we'll be moving over to them and all the lovely features they bring. I haven't a clue how long this will take, but progression is being made.

    As we got a fair bit of the expansion done with friday's reboot, this post won't be so insanely long. ^^

    PT is now aimed at 2-3 people before KR, magic/melee immune mobs have been altered so both sides can kill them, all mobs have taken a very minor dc increase to balance this out (as things obviously die much quicker now), Reforged Items are still very worth your time, though it won't be a small amount of time, so keep plugging away in there.

    Ants (PC) have been nerfed, so should now be an ideal levelling cave for Wizards, it should also be viable for Warriors/Tao's - As usual we'd like a handful of different people to try this out and give feedback (as much fun as it is testing a cave at various levels in various kit, we don't have the time, so it's balanced for a certain level/kit, we need you to make sure it's fine for everything above and below that).

    Bone items will now be rather common, this doesn't mean you'll have a full kit after an hour or two hunting there, but if you stay there for several hours, it should be no problem.

    JT Spawns increased.

    BoneArchers in PSC now give 4k exp a piece, to increase the speed Warrior/Tao's level there and to help reduce their numbers (as I'm sure Wiz's will now make an effort to kill them, rather than leave them ).

    TaoSchool has been updated for RB2 players (we have a few quickly approaching it), it includes access to; WWL, MM and RME (new group cave, it's tough, but well worth it). I've had a good skim through and picked up a few new changes for us to do (namely grammatical errors), so if you see notice anything wrong when you get there, drop Cerb or myself a pm.

    Snake, Cold and RME sets have all been added, if you wish to see any, look out for the invisible GM's who wear it.

    As people expressed a need for some more bosses and a bit more variety, we've added DarkCave, this is specifically for level 220+ (no top end cap, so you may come back here to help friends ), this has added a total of 5 new bosses for you to play with, in addition to mobs that give between 8k and 12k exp a piece.

    This was going to be level 200 to enter, but as people seem intent on going in new caves as soon as possible (regardless of the level it's aimed at), we don't want this to replace PC/PB and then for people to become bored around 230 again, so we've put it at 220, which is where things begin to slow down a bit, it's ideally for a pair of people, but is also great for solo players and groups alike - It's based around BDD, as you'll see.

    OmaKing has been added, another fun thing for you to find out how to get in to - Most likely you'll have to wait for the next "Question Answer" reward.

    ST was too difficult (barely had any feedback about this, but gladly someone told us, lol), so it's all been made much easier, especially the WEB's.

    Book levels have been updated to show correct levels, only one that you'll notice is Rage, which was showing as 250, but is level 240.

    PB/Ants updated to make them more user-friendly for their intended users (melee/magic, respectively) and had their spawns increased.

    GT has had a few updates, have a look around to find them.

    Removed a tonne of npc items that weren't needed, will lead to the server loading a bit quicker after reboots - Thanks to Sable for the tip, it won't be massively noticeable, but in the long run it should provide a handy clean-up technique to keep things spotless.

    Mob gold drops increased.

    Lower level caves have had their mob levels increased, so you can stay in specific caves longer, before hitting the 1 exp per mob kill.

    Slight body drop increase, as well as curse chance decrease (on pk, not bene's).

    Several changes to RB2 new town (need to be 250, not 200 to get there), all minor grammar/link changes, to make sure it's good to go for our first RB2 players.

    EvoHeaven Items had a slight increase to come in line with our level 280/300 sets.

    GemDealer added.

    PetReturner moved to PetParking.

    @tt now takes you beside the BichonTeleporter in PetParking Map, to avoid the poor lost nubs wandering for all of 30 seconds to find it.

    Now when you buy an exp chest you must use @exp to use it, this is to bypass a bug that was leading to players having a ghosted slot in their bag.

    Poison changed so it ticks once every 5 seconds, instead of once every 2.5 seconds, meaning the total damage is cut in half, resulting in less problems with poison damage scaling.

    Healing/MassHealing's effect dramatically improved, Healing is roughly 3 times more effective, MassHealing is roughly 4 times more effective - This amount alters with your kit, but it's a big improvement regardless what SC you have.

    The usual handful of minor fixes that I doubt anyone will notice, that just makes things easier on our end.

    • Added more gold/bene's to most boss drops, in addition to raising drop chance (so rares are more likely to drop), also added books to more drops pre-RB2, so you'll have them before hitting RB2.
    • Lots of RB2 DF minor tweaks/additions.
    • Snake set moved from level 250 to 280, stats updated to come in line with the change.
    • GGNpc finally updated, added Jinchon/Reforged, Ancient is on there as well due to it being an easily attainable set (also drops a little more often now).
    • MineralMines stats upped to come in line with their new level items.
    • Book drops at RB2 raised so the 250 ones are relatively common, so you get a decent reward for hitting 250 for a second time.
    • Tao/Warrior version of CorruptedCave; This is only for Tao/Warrs to enter, basically the same as CC, but with boosted exp, so it's easy levelling like Wiz's have (easy kills, fast levelling), it won't be AS fast as Wiz's in CC, but will be a noticeable improvement - Also means Wiz's get CC to themselves (won't be class restricted, but it's much better for Wiz's).
    • Tao/Warrior levelling version of DarkCave; Level 230 requirement, Tao/Warrior only, again it won't make them quicker than a Wiz in DarkCave, but it'll give them the boost they need.
    • Prison: With people being how Mir players always are, we need some form of punishment that isn't quite as harsh as a full ban, so we now have the Prison system, the beauty of this is that we'll put you in there for a set amount of time, when that time is up, if you've left the Prison, you get a temp ban - If you're inside the prison, where we left you, then your punishment will be over. You CAN @tt from prison and there are other ways to escape, getting back in however, is impossible, so we'll know.
    • Tao poison damage used to tick once every 2.5 seconds, it was ticking every 5 seconds, now it ticks every 4 seconds (this is a 20% increase in damage), if it's still crap, we'll reduce it slightly more, but it won't be back to the point it was at before.
    • Warrior weapon's dc has taken a significant increase, as we're firm believers in weapons being a big boost, so that's where it's gone.
    • Taoist weapon's aspeed has taken a significant increase, for the above reason, they've also taken a minor dc increase.
    • PoisonBundles added to a few mob's DF's (PB/Spiders in DC, Cyclon's in DC and one or two others).
    • Level 250+ caves have had their stats updated to come in line with the new stats on items.
    • Level 250+ items have had their stats updated to come in line with Ancient kit (make a note of anything you feel is painfully crap).
    • @taopet has been removed as it wasn't doing what we wanted it to, new files are getting close, so we can add in a beefed up Tao pet around 280-300 odd.
    • AdvSFB has been lower to level 200 to give Tao's a further boost and to let them do some actual damage in fights - This will need a little balancing so bare with us, will need feedback from various kit/player levels.
    • Slightly raised AMC on BC mobs and give them a 20% exp boost.
    • Raised exp in ST by 20%.
    • Lowerd IC stats slightly, so people can go there a little sooner.
    • Raised stats on WoomyonWoods mobs and exp quite a bit to get people from 15-25 ish.
    • Made JT more nub-friendly for the intended levels. to give a cave between PSC and PB/PC.
    • Updated ArmourMan to show how many of each item is required for each quest.
    • Given Tao's SFB at level 7, level 15 + 30 for level 2 + 3 of the spell.
    • NatCave and OmaCaves have had their stats reduced and exp increased.
    • BC and ST have had their stats adjusted to make it a little more melee friendly and raised exp to make the climb back to 150 a bit quicker.
    • Raised the exp in all other caves slightly to bring them in line with the new exp.
    • Improved a tonne of level 250+ kit.
    • Added SW Teleport to Edwin in MW.
    • Updated T/P caves, there's now a boss to play with.
