Evo server the best so far?

Just wondered which server you thought was the best, i think evo is defo the best so far with the style of play and whole construct. 5 Stars *****

Old Extreme wouldn't of lasted long, especially with the rate Juice was adding things, took a week+ to get one 'new' cave in (old cave, old mobs, new DF's that were awful ><), I'm not saying it wasn't fun, because it was, but servers like that one don't last long.

I'd rather not make a competition of which server is best, Evo's not even been up a week yet so over 50% of people have seen even a third of the content yet, it being a new server people are also more likely to say "Oh yeah it's great", because it's a fresh start, which is always fun.

(what might be better is to give it a couple of weeks and see what happens to the numbers - when evo first opened it nicked a few players from Extreme/LowRate but they seem to be coming back for one reason or another - they might just be set in their ways on those servers but after a couple of weeks of the server being online it will give a better over view)


anywho i choose Lowrate as i tend to like that style of play and the friendly community that has developed there.

although Extreme is good fun, i dont get enough time to play and dont have a kit that will be able to defend against those higher level Pker types

as for Evo - i managed to get to about 60ish in about 2 hours and actually got bored of BDD lol >.< im a fussy bugger though without much time on my hands so tbh my view shouldnt count :P

as for HR i spent about 2-2 &1/2 months getting to 64 and got bored of the repetitive pk attempts - running higher level players through firewall for 20 minutes until they run out of pots doesn't really help with the leveling lol.


Which leaves me with Lowrate which is like my baby (now the girlfriends baby ) so i have a bit of a biased opinion there :P (which is why i voted for LR )




(lol @ you Ad choosing a server that doesn't exist any more :P trust you to be akward btw did you manage to get connected to any MR servers in the end - i saw a post from Prov saying to check your firewall setting but lost track of it)

Depends what mood im in really, sometimes i can log on high rate and find it good, get into fighting etc, other time i log on and log straight off.

i got to about 90 on evo then got bored and couldnt be asked to log on, got back into it again though and 130+ now.

id say at the moment Evo looks like it has the potential to be the best, if the current support, ideas and gameplay continue to be as excellent as it has been!

Only time will tell though, its like a footballer just coming into the limelight and being compared to the greatest of all time!

Still getting through the teething issues that all new servers get, but touch wood (not that kind), we've not had any serious problems and have been rather lucky. I'm steadily picking things up in the way of running the server itself (unblocking accounts, retrieving passwords, altering DF's and mob stats, etc etc) and with this weekend's expansion, it should all continue to go up.

Lone you're not alone there, we'd not given enough options for the lower levels, so we added TopGearCave (Hamster = epic, lmao) for levels 60-100 and LizardCave for 100-150, in addition to removing all pre-100 cave level blocks, so people are a little more free to roam around.

Got lots being done tonight and tonnes to do this weekend (41 points I've come up with to do, in addition to Cerb's intentions for new caves/sets for when people start getting to the 300 ish bracket), going to be a busy weekend. :P

Yeah i connected fine, after not playing MirRev for a while id forgot that it is infact, gay. And that i need to turn my firewalls off to pass login gate.

(if you wanted to do a server shout just before the reboot tonight, im doing some spawns/invasions and some find the GM events on Extreme at about 7ish if you wanted to give those that will be going into withdrawals at the lack of the server something to keep their addictions topped up )

im the 1st who voted for Extreme.
Played evo for an hour or so @ the start got bored of the restrictions and having much higher lvls running past me and laying a FW down on me, Got to 60ish then gave up might give it another go in a few days now u have made the lower lvls easier to get pass by, But i still really enjoy Ex maybe coz aprox half the active members are in my guild so got a nice bunch of ppl to chat to whilst i stand in gt and do 0.
And on a seperat note Lone if u need some kit am sure ur old man can lend u some of the stuff he hoarded from the early Ex cave drops and im allways willing to help noobies with kit, Just get pissed off with the 10-20 pms i get a day from randoms asking can u lvl me plz.
FFS i dont like lvling myself y would i want to lvl u lol.
