Host/Server Change.

We've had a fair few things done to tweak and improve the server by a certified professional (who has my undying love for doing it for us <3) and all-round very helpful guy (ezzo), but it seems the minor lag people get once in a while and this and that is down to the host/server we're on.

The host that HR and Extreme are on were busy, hence why we're on a different one to them, theirs is clearly better and we're swapping over to them (just had the new server ordered, no more than an hour ago) and as it's only an additional £25 more per month, we've upgraded to a better version of the current server (server = pc it's ran on).

It's; Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2.4GHz (1066FSB/65Nm/8mbL2) RAM/Memory: 4GB RAM Primary Hard Drive: 250GB SATA2 16MB Cache. On the usual 100mb line. To people who don't know computer/server speccs, it's a pretty nice upgrade (currently on a Core2Duo, going up to Core2Quad; 2 Cores up to 4 = Simples!) and will hopefully be worth the money and work it means to swap everything over.

How does this affect me?; Simple, it basically doesn't! If you've played HR/Extreme and been lag-free, but have had the odd spot of it on here, you won't get that any more after the swap, as we'll be on the same hosts (I think our speccs might even be a little better, not sure though ^^), meaning the same level of quality is kept up.

People who are connecting from outside of the UK should see an improvement, as I know a handful have contacted me saying they've had lag problems, but don't on HR/Extreme - You will lose any problems between the servers, as we'll all be using the same company thus same connections.

When will this happen?; Well they say it takes a week at the most, if they have the parts in stock, if they don't, it will take longer, chances are we'll need to pay for this server for a further month, which although it means we're £134 down, we have a top end test server for a month, lol. It'll mean we go down for an hour or two during the swap (maybe longer, maybe less), but other than that, you shouldn't notice a negative difference.

New server won't fix bounceback >.< It's a pain in the ass but meh what can you do! Walk-pvp like the good old days ^^
