Well it seems that things have moved impressively quickly (thank you to Jamie and our new hosts), the server is already online and is being brought up to date as we speak, Ezzo will be applying some super-duper-secret tweaks to basically improve the server (it's technical mumbo-jumbo, which leaves me lost) today, so a second thank you to him for his hard work.

Tonight server will be going offline around 10pm - It should only take an hour or two to get us swapped over and online, and as I predicted, something always crops up, lol - Shouldn't take long as we'll have all hands on deck as everyone will be here should we run in to issues.

It'll be exactly the same as a reboot to you, except you'll need to put a new IP in to your servers.ini file - You won't lose anything like your char/items/account. Keep an eye out for any problems, it's unlikely that any will happen, but you never know, better to be unnecessarily prepared than to be caught off guard. I'll see about a spawning event tomorrow evening, something like last night's one, so all level groups can benefit.

All GGPets will be replaced, make sure you get a screenshot before the server goes down (or get myself/Cerb to get one before you log off on the evening and we see your pet die).

Bottom line; Server will be going offline tonight around 10pm, so be prepared to log out before then (ideally be ready to log by 10pm.

Update; Being Jamie's bday today, he had somewhat of a late night last night, Ezzo's not on a particularly stable connection, so doesn't really want to attempt it, but we'll see what we can do.

Typically Cerb has 1 week out of 6 at work which keeps him super busy, this is it - If we don't do the transfer before saturday, we have another month's server cost to pay, so we obviously want this done as much as you lot do.

Update, to save people wasting their time, we'll be doing this tonight, it's silly to sit around waiting for this to get done when you could all be playing, it's possible we'll do this before 5pm, but tbh I'd rather wait for Cerb to finish work and make sure it's all done just how he wants. Ezzo's helping me update things (his connection is AWFUL atm) as we speak, so it will be quicker tonight than previously planned, who knows, I might even manage to do it.

Right, all seems good to go offline either at or just before 10pm, I'll do the spawning event tomorrow at 7pm, as it'll mean more people are able to stay for the full duration of it.
