To high rate players

If you guys are looking for a server to play... Evo is relatively new and anyone starting now won’t be miles behind everyone. If we do see a lot of High Rate players wanting to join we will look at some sort of Low level events to speed up the levelling process a little for your guys.

But basically if you’re looking for a fun competitive server that you can join now and not be miles behind everyone, give Evo a try. You don’t really have anything to lose

Lapta (Server Owner) basically just got bored, had enough of people moaning, and just lost interest in the game.

The server was due to close on the 12th November when the company wont renew it.

But the server went down sometime this morning, and lapta doesnt want/cant be asked to put it back up.

Jamie decided to call it a day, he put a thread up explaining that he was done with it and was going to let the server stay online until the next server payment (17th of Nov), but the m2server crashed and he said he'd prefer to leave it down.

Whether it's gone for good, only Jamie knows, but from what he's said it is - If it does go, (God this will sound cheesey) a true Legend Of Mir has died, 300+ players in it's prime, bloody insane. I digress, from what any of us know, HR is gone, so if you want to play a server that's only been up for 5 weeks and therefore you're not left in the dust already, Evo could be your new home, we have 65 people online this second and we were hitting 50-65 players daily before the weekend's event (and HR's 'death'), I think it's safe to say we've adopted a lot of HR's players as we were hitting past the 80 user count last night.

Ah that's a good point, glad to see you're not too busy at work and got all the stats redone (again ><) - I'll add the Cold weapons in a minute.

A little more info on the Halloween event; Halloween is saturday (31st), that means not this saturday, but the following one. We've not decided whether we'll do it for the weekend or maybe a little longer in to the week, but I'm leaning on saturday/sunday/monday and removing it monday evening - I'll discuss this with Cerb in the near future and we'll fill you all in on the final date.

It'll be in level brackets like all good events, so you're not going to be fighting over the same mobs as someone 200 levels above/below you, higher levels and lower levels will enjoy this event, I'm sure of it.

Will this be similar to the the TIMMWE event?

I think item drops should be limited if so, because everyone getting heaven items from the TIMMWE event was abit OTT!

Just bumped the thread back up, they're being removed in friday's reboot, but 6 real ones will be handed out to the winners, of which there's potentially 100 or more players.

And no, the event has a different idea than the TIMMWE event, we don't like doing the same thing time and time again, so we try and add some variation, which this event will have.
