Error Code 10k

Hey there, I'm just wondering if anyone else gets this error, or has a solution to it? It's meant to be because of connection issues, but all other computers/laptops play mir fine in this house and a speed test showed it was ok (upload a bit low tho).

I run windows 7, wondering if that makes a difference?

a m8 of me had it to but was due to a faulty gfx card driver i beleve .. ope some1 can shed a light on this

The Error Message 10000 is a test from your local computer's interval timer
to catch out speed hackers.

This also can be due to bad lag e.g. if your packet data goes out of
synchronization then error message will appear too...

Finally if you have more than 2Core+ in your CPU (i.e Dual core, Quad core etc)
in your computer this can also trick the interval timers - making this error message appear.

I suggest if your on a multi-core processor, to see if doing Ctrl Alt Delete then setting Afinity to 1 and going ingame, if that works then I can sort you out a .BAT file that'll auto do it.

This computer runs a quad core, but mir works fine, same with my dads laptop. I don't think it could be down to that.

I think the laptop has only a single core, but I'm not sure
