if you get banned on extreme you get an extreme ban.
Which will be, kit dropped in game, deleveled, banned from extreme and high rate.

Just wondering, whats the reason behind the bans on server trading? Never was going to do it because of the rules, just curious
I know Gm's hold no responsibility, but can players not decide to take the risk themselves?

From what I remember from reading the forums, trading between servers has never been a bannable offence as such (although it's advised against). Although the GMs will take no responsability for inter-server trades... and take a very dim view if you hassle them for this kind of problem. That's how I remember it from the forum posts (although I may be wrong)... so perhaps this ban was more about hassling gm's for this rather than anything else?
TBH I've only heard about the ban in the last few minutes so have no idea what was going on... but I was suprised in the last war to see a wiz with s dash!

Fuda - trading between servers means logging in to 2 different servers to perform a trade. e.g: if I logged in to LR and gave someone all my kit, then logged in to extreme and they gave me all my kit, that is what is meant.
Obviously this can cause real problems if your trading with an untrustworthy person and causes real headaches for the gm's. Looking through past forum posts, it is a bannable offence!

what do you mean like if i had a charc in HR and one in extreme, i would pay the guy like 5000 billion on HR and he give me a horn ring on extreme, or is this like virtually moving a item from HR to extreme?
I would say the second option should be a ban defonately

server trading has never been allowed and never will be.
Not being ingame I've clearly missed some amusing drops.
Fuda it's explained fully on the thread how server trading works, unless a GM was silly enough to help, it'd mean using either a third party (that was trusted, to hold items on both servers, then give them to the two traders) or trusting the other not to screw you over.
In any case, it means a LOT of work for a GM if it was to be allowed, which is probably why Jamie has never allowed it. Evo will of course be taking the same rule and chances are we'll be extending bans from Extreme/HR to Evo as well, for more serious things (ie things that wouldn't only lose you your account, but also get you an IP ban).
