How About this (For the (P) Items)

How about we remove all the AC/AMC from the current (p) items.

but i add in a copy of the items which will only have the AC/AMC and wont have any DC/SC/MC on them??


that way you guys have to hunt for your armour again but would still have the damage to beat up the current bosses.

Something like Trading them in for tokens (and you will need alot of tokens for anything worthwhile) would be alot better
with things as they are no boss is worth hunting, even with amazing drops noone needs things like level 70 items, there was a heaven ring in TM for like, 8mill? cuz its so lame in comparison to the lord items everyone refuses to change out of for obvius reasons

by sperating the AC/AMC from the DC/SC/MC it will make Heaven/Hell/Mir/MirRev items have a purpose and will actually be useful.

having a trade in for these current items doesnt fix the issue of them being better than everything ingame making all other items pointless.

the choices are -

1) drasticly reduce the stats on the current (p) items, making all other items just as good or better than them. (time consuming)

2) Increase the stats on all the other items ingame to make them better than the current (P) items (Very time consuming)

3) Split the current (P) items making 2 versions (P) for DC/MC/SC and (A) for AC/AMC (Already done this just need to over write the current DB so this can be applied in a minute rather than waiting for ages)




spliting the items doesnt mean we cant have a trade in for items of greater value. (eg instead of needed 10 (P)Devil items for one real devil item you will need 10(P) and 10(A) for the same Devil item.)

but if u did number 1 its gonna make it harder 2 hunt in Extreme caves because u still get hit now with half lord on

When i said Time Consuming - it wouldnt be done for a week or 2.

Splitting the items - means people will have reasons to hunt regular bosses or will actually have to group to hunt the extreme caves which was the original intention of the caves.

also Splitting the items allows for the Trade in option to be able to add in more items above the current ones, something like ExtremeHeaven/Hell/Mir items

so not only do the current items suddenly become worthwhile without me having to go through 2000 items and restat them all, it also means i dont need to go through the 220 (P) items making sure they are all balanced.

it also means i can add in the split items which are already done and can get on with trying to add in more extreme caves or finish off the teleport quest so you guys have somethng else to work on rather than just levelings.


it also means you guys have more kit to be hunting for which gives me some more time to get other things done

Honestly i wouldn't no what to suddgest!
i see plus points for all of the ideas.

It was nessasery for them to be in the game at the start i suppose so that people could have kitt but now i think maybe changing the drops from Devil/God/Lord items to GiftBox's where we can find thigns like armours, heaeven/hell items/Exp bars/ level 60+ items
and totaly removing (P) devil items from NONE bosses would be the way to go in my opinion.

As you said, other than removing some of there stats there isn't alot you can do to make people wear different kitts
with the dura being only 2 the items thats are curretently ingame will allow people to hunt bosses and Gifts (prohaps only dropping in EX caves as you obviusly worked hard on these) that by the time they are on dura 0/0 and useless there will be good items around anyway

i do like the idea of adding present boxes into the game i think it was the old Labyrinth server had presentboxes dropping from most things.

hmmm ill have to have a thinky about that one

the way i see it it would just be a shame for so much of the server to be unused as it is currently due to only EX caves dropping good kitt in many aspects
Gifts insted (maybe even with (P) items on an extreamly low chance would work) would much improve the life span & the ecanomic crysis we are in =P

Or couldnt we do something like u HAVE to trade the (P) items in say like 10-20 for a heaven item or something but take all the stats off the (P) items because then they aint gonna keep it then so then every1 will trade them in
