code 10000 making me a sad panda

anyone else getting code 10k randomly? I was getting it now and again but this morning I've had it 3 times within 10 mins!

Been so long since i've played mir, i think there was a fix for this but could be wrong!

Code10000 refers to an unstable connection which probably means your internet is having problems somewhere along the line to the server.

Have you recently had a internet upgrade?

its possible that the connection speed might be to much for the line which is trying tocarry it and therefore makes the connection unstable.

It might be worth giving your ISP a call and getting them to test the line to see its caperbilities and see if they have overloaded it with an automatic line speed increase

i definately havent had any upgrades but i will contact them to get the tests done, tbh i am looking for a way out of my contract with bt as their service is ****e

BT have been a choice for many people for many years, I remember back on Euro when roughly 1/3 of the population were on BT, suddenly have half the server go offline and not come back, check the forums and it seems BT has killed something again - Fun times. xD

I'm not fond of Virgin Media, but they took over Blueyonder (which was the dog's whatssits), so I automatically fell under their 'service', they're far from great, but I rarely get problems with them, the price isn't insane and the connection very rarely gets issues... All in all, they're worth it, assuming you can get them wherever you live. Avoid TalkTalk at all costs, I've heard a very large amount of negative things about them.

i am using virgin media myself and they have recently upgraded every 1 to 10MB connection @ no extra cost.
Any problems i have ever had with them i just phone up and complain like a raving loony and they allways give me some sort of credit so happy days

lol that lucky for you :P Im on AOL at home and they were taken over by CarPhoneWarehouse - so when ever i phone AOL support i get transfered to CPW, who then say its not their fault, transfer back to AOL, who say well if they cant help you try phoneing BT, who say nothing to do with us phone your provider. lol and it goes on like that for some time

im glad to say i dont have to phone them very often lol.

AOL, ewwwwww! Used them ages ago, back when I was on dial-up, they used to have a load of **** installed from their cd, which I didn't know about, so my pc was painfully full of crap, lol.

i am on AOL lky 4 me i have never had any problems been wid them 8 years now mind u i didn't like it, when u had 2 use that stupid browser of theirs.
