GreatWall/Sabuk Update

Great Wall and Sabuk Wall seem to have an issue server side.

the way it works is like this.

There is a folder for the Castles and within the folder are 2 more folders named "0" and "1"

"0" is for Sabuk Wall and "1" is for Great Wall.

within these files are the instructions for both walls (theirs names, the cords for the break able walls, the cords for the gates, the various shops that are part of the war zone etc etc )

for some reason the files in the sabuk folder are actually exactly the same as the files in the Greatwall folder, therefore when ever you submit a relic for Sabuk, it sumbits the war for Great Wall.

Easy fix you might think (just as i did) and this is where the problem lies!

I copied the files from the Low Rate server files and pasted them into the correct folder and over wrote the cocked up Sabuk Files

all seemed well - i did a global shout saying the wars would be fixed yada yada yada.

I reboot the server look at the walls and they are backto the original cocked up files!

It would appear that when ever the server saves the database (every 10 minutes) it updates the castle information and also the War Schedule List. Which is why the guild "Plop" have appearntly still got a war scheduled for a month or so ago.

I only found out this over write issue last night when trying to figure out why the files had reverted backto their original selves (i thought i was going mad and had simply forgotten to save the file and everytime so i went through it with Shirley sitting next to me making sure i saved things and low and behold the thing changed back)

So unfortuntly the wars only work for GreatWall at the moment, and i will try to change the files when the server is offline so it doesnt have the ability to update itself and overwrite the changes i make, this will happen in next weeks reboot.

Ill give you another update at to weather its working or not just after the reboot (or if i find any similar instances or information which might help )

as u may now from pen but the war worked last nite.. although i could have sworn that i saw 2 guilds with the wall but nothing had happened at great wall ( marmion an elite) also is there any way to remove our guild from that waiting list as we are one of those waiting back last month for the war.

ty lone for time an patience of fixing this were time could be spent on items/caves etc.

It looks as though the settings have stuck when i changed them with the server down so i will submit a couple of relics tonight and we can see what happens

Tested it again last night.

1/ Both walls switched back from previousd ownetrs so you can take them and then retake them later. Last time you could take the wll one time but not retake it so thats sorted :-)

2/ Just for info, unless something has been changed, you were never able to take the wall in the first 10 minutes. So if you walked in to sabuk immediately after the war started you would have to wait 10 mins before the server says that your guild have taken it., This may be a changeable setting but its not one I have spotted (or have forgotten)

3/ You only get the one wall title on your char which is currently sabuk. In last nights test we took Sabuk first and it may be first come first served as far as the title goes. Next time whoever takes both, if they can take GW first and then sabuk it would be useful to see what title comes up.
