Pay to play or not pay to play? That is the question?

We are thinking of not making the game pay to play, well monthly payments any ways.

I think a 1 of charge of £10 per account then the option to buy extras in game, such as king room teleports and question completion is a much better idea. There will of course be NO opition to buy levels or main items in game.

Ive voted for pay monthly, the idea that NO ONE can buy levels or items or pets or anyhting that will unblance the game is the sort of server me and my friends are looking for and have since settled here.

I dont like the idea of king room teleports i dont like the idea of anything that involves short cutting the game. i know i have spoken to people in game and some are for the p2p some are against.. bet everyone who started the OB here knew this was going p2p so if they didnt like the idea why bother playing it? If you didnt know it was going to be p2p you should have RTFM...

you should not be able to BUY anything, maybe EARN gamepoints in game via certain quests (repeatables) or achievments (boss kills) then those points can be used to purchase maybe torches, or used towards a special repair thats costs GP instead of gold. warriors / taoists (bar skele shin deva) / ninjas should NEVER have pets, if you want pets make a wizard.

Defo agree!!!!! just like the old euro mir!! old and classic no short cuts or help! just old school hunts and boss hunts!

I think it's much too early to decide on this. Increasing the number of players and balancing the new class would be more productive.

I agree with pay 2 play subscription so it is a level playing field thats the only thing that would get me back in mir, KR teleports are okish but I hate the items and levels purchasing I think it ruins the fun. Im happy to pay you a subscription but wont pay a penny in items anymore. But the downside of that is that it may put some people off playing who just wanna play for free and arse about - these people do contribute to the server count.
