MP3 player in game

If i added a simple MP3 player in game, something like

@mp31 - that would play mp3 called 1.mp3 in the music folder (you put ur own mp3s in to the music folder and then rename them 1.mp3 2.mp3 etc)

would you use it?

yes very good idea m8, how many songs would you think of supporting? i tried something similar in the past back ages ago, but when i tried to play another song the current song wouldn't stop so i had several songs playing over each other which just caused it to be a huge messy sound, i assume you have taken into consideration ways of stopping and pausing the music?

If it sounded good, and was louder than the Mir Effect sounds, then definatly.

if you want i will have a dig around and try remember how far i got with it, and the easiest way to go about it, can't do any harm :P
I think all players may possibly need to convert all their mp3's to WAV files as i'm pretty sure the client does not recognise mp3's, though i could be wrong as i defo know clients didn't "used" to anyway. Have you ever thought about putting map music into the server Lapta?

yes you could use media player but i think the purpose would be so you could switch song without having to minimize mir, in my case i have a multimedia keyboard so i can scroll through music without minimizing mir but i think it would be a good feature for the majority of players.
