macros!

are u aloud to use macros or not? i know they were banned from euro shortly after start of 5th anerversery event and just wondered if they alloud here? seen a fair few ppl use them now thats all

Programs that "emulate people".
A simple macro is like... when a tao lvls skills, it changes amuletts.
But a good macro can make your char go and lvl your char afk. (its not even really hard to make, i know i made some for Lineage2... dont really take mir seriously to make one for it tho)

Eeek. Imo it is not a good idea to allow them. Soon it will be a competition for the best macros writers who can leave their char to level 24/7 for weeks while they are afk.

To gt if attacked, to re-stock pots, to repair every 6 hours. Soon the server will be running amock with level 200 wizzards in easter kit!!

it wouldnt work......it wouldnt be as effective as u claim it will be, lineage2 u had a grp of like 4+ people sometimes 9, and they didnt do it for exp as such, they where farmers of small items, as u could tell by tonnes of the noobs de lvlin off the guards once their lvl made the drops rubbish,

u would also have to have a rather complex macro for the whole repair thing, cos repairs would be an nightmare, and i mean how do u pick up drops?

also the pkers.....u could do auto log but if someone attacks u while ur attackin a mob....before u can log out ur dead meat anyways, it wouldnt catch on. a few people might make a bit of cash but only if ya pretty stupid enough to make one

edit: rofl sorry i was miles away just seen the gt if attacked bit, omg im well out of it. i suppose it would work but it would be way to much hassle, cos u cant really mass lure and stuff can u and thats how u make masses of exp on here....i mean auntsally is practically on all the time and does mass lures. and only lvl 109 so i dont think they would lvl so fast

As a programmer i have to agree!
No real point in making a makro for mir!
To make a lvling makro it take a LOT of effort, as the makers of mir didnt really make it simple.
Only to read in your HP/MP in a macro its not as easy as to read in some numbers from memory.....

Anyway...i wanted to make a mining macro, but i gave up, as its a real b**ch to make a macro for mir. It doesnt tolerate window mode, or many scripting tricks... its just evil, and not worth it to macro... so TBH if you CAN make a macro ( thats more than like " if you go under x% of hp then log out) then you CAN use it as its a b**ch to make.

surely it would only work on wizz's as you could walk along lay a fw and hope theres been an rs keep doing that till u kill mobs? where as a war u have to click mobs so it wud b hard to program it to walk into say bdd and click randomly ? not sure how it would work only a guess
